Voicing your dpad frustration to aftermarket

The xbox one dpad is definitely much better than the xbox 360, but there are still problems with it. I would like to make this thread on multiple forums and submit this to http://www.evilcontrollers.com/

This company has made a dpad for the xbox 360 which I love * http://www.evilcontrollers.com/products/xbox-360-controller-parts/evil-d-pad-face-plates.html , but many people still have a problem with it. When I talked to their live chat they said the xbox one dpad had multiple improvements, but were still interested in my concern. By these multi-site threads I hope that they see people want a BETTER dpad!!!

Here are things I've heard about evil...

EVIL DPAD PROBLEMS:
-Buttons are spaced too far apart
-Icon in the middle becomes unglued due to sweaty hands and makes a sticky mess

XBOX ONE DPAD PROBLEMS:

-Hard edges
-Not easy to make Forward, Down, Forward motions *dragon punches* especially on the right side of the dpad.
-Lack of accuracy
-Needs spaced buttons *ps2 inspired*

Evil Controllers also makes very nice custom and FPS based controllers that are definitely worth the investment!

Lets show them that we want something better and we know this company is the one that can provide that!

I think Nintendo actually patented the perfect d-pad or something. Sony's the only one that's come close

Its really killing me and I am HOPING we get a converter or something that is decent faster then we got on xbox 360. Also I don't think this is crying. The Dpad is a real issue for lots of people.

I would love to respond to you in my normal fashion, but I'm trying to make a serious thread about a SERIOUS complaint.

This isn't a whine thread, but to show a company that their product is in HIGH demand if made properly for the FGC.

The FGC is a small % to most games, but it still makes a mark and since KI3 is a new game for a new console I think it's essential to show that you care and cater to a certain community.

I agree they are the best, but they break so fast that its not worth buying them. My last one lasted only a month...

I had one of those for mk9.. The d-pad broke 1-2 months.

though im just primarily a stick player i feel that this is definitly a really important piece if microsoft would inprove its dpad fully it would have the perfect controller honestly if it had a ps2 dpad in it it would be perfect

thats funny, i think casuals have no idea how good a stick is, they just mash their thumbs on a dpad and think it provides the same level of control as a stick or hitbox.

Xbox controllers have always catered to FPS. They have no idea what the FGC wants or needs. Their real money makers are shooters and the controller is designed for it.

If it had 6 buttons i'd be liking every post about the controller..... but the fact of the matter is it only has 4.... so KI and SF both suffer in that you have two less buttons to map.

We need the DS4 dpad with 6 buttons. Plain and simple.

You want me to contact a company that couldn't make a dpad when the 360 came out, then they made another horrible attempt with some twisting junk, and now they failed on their new system WHEN THEY KNEW ABOUT ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEIR OLD DPAD!
