Are people concerned at all about the lack of characters hurting the life of the game? People seem optimistic now, but I think this game has the possibility of getting old quickly. How does it make up for this other than the fact that it's KI?
It can't get old for too long -- since they'll be releasing a bunch of characters, I figure that the hype surrounding this game will continue to circulate and gain new breath as each DLC is released.

My friend who was originally going to buy an Xbone changed his mind and decided to just upgrade his PC, so I probably won't be able to play it for a couple years.

Kinda sucks.

Still, I'm super glad it didn't end up being a piece of shit, and that people are really enjoying it. It may not have been my favorite fighting game franchise, but it's awesome seeing a game come back after 17 years and kick ass.

Officially they have said Spinal in January, and Fulgore in March.

If the game sells a lot, and does well for MS, they will do a second season of characters, and they will go from there.

It's fun so far. I am curious how much different a stick play is as the Xbox controller is weird to use as the heavy attack buttons being at the top. $200 is too much for me though. The Xbox controller also has the option to use the Right analog to use for breakers which I find easier.

I am curious how the "getting randomed out" factor will play in this game. Visually there is a lot going on but with a smaller cast I think it will be easy for dedicated players to read/break combos - I guess that is where the counter breaker game comes in.

Compared to NRS games the jump ins/jump speed is quite a bit different. Injustice will ruin you as with KI holding down is not the same as down+back.

Are you guys using the analog or the dpad? I actually find myself switching as the Dpad is easier to dash and the analog for specials/jumping

Yeah, when people start using more manual doubles instead of auto-doubles, I think it'll affect this too.

Didn't get to play much today but the time spent on it was great, picked up saber gonna invest some serious time in KI for a while.
