Add people on this site, yo.
I have :) Those are always the best, and normally the best people I randomly run into online are on this site too.

Is it sad i cant even tell you my trueskill? Lol ive never thought to check but i have no prob beating people in the 35+ crowd
Its not sad, it's probably good. I never started keeping track until i figured out how to look at the leaderboards to see it, i still cant retrieve my hero card. The skill level isnt a bad way to see how someone is good, its not perfect, but if you see someone in their 30s generally they are pretty good.
Try to use deathstroke hero card background and see how many declines you get :D

I asked a few and they said they declined me because they don't like playing against Lex... and I've never touched Lex. My gamertag is Lex Luthor. I noticed though I get more declines using an Aquaman tag than a WonWom tag, i dont think most people play against many Wonder Womans.
true but iv just invited them afterwards
Do they join? if you beat them that is. I get like 1 out of maybe 10 to join me afterwards.

online means nothing when you dont try everygame, lag is a factor, and when you learn a new character and are getting bopped
Everyone knows this. When did anyone say anything about online "meaning something" here derp.

I'm just talking about getting declined, or not declined, based on certain things and asking if that happens for other people and what its like at different spots. Mkay?

Why the hell would you decline THEM? That's like, a free win dude! YEAH!
tbh I'll accept if I'm trying out new people.

I was hardly around 25 trueskill last time I checked.

Hardly anybody with a trueskill rank that is higher than mine will agree to rematch if I win- since losing against me would push their rank down to where I'm at..... And I generally am not able to get online much in the first place.

So my problem is actually the reverse lol.

Niceee, yeah I can see how that would happen. If someone with a mid 20 skillrank beats me the first time, they normally just leave. Get so excited I guess and don't want to risk it. People who are afraid or decline or leave or run just to protect their pointless number are boring.

I've made it to TS rank 28 using Lex, which is quite an accomplishment in itself, & people have been declining me ever since TS rank 25... I make a habit of accepting any fight that's at least 2 TS ranks above mine or lower; that way, even the higher ups can get fights & if in the off-chance I beat them, my own TS rank goes up.

Is not so much so much your rank, it has to do with your win/loss.
I get declined by people that have 1000/150 record. They only reason they decline me is because they see that I have 2000+ games, they don't even bother to see the losses. I could not care less about win/loss, i have the most losses with my best character because I tend to play far superior players with it. Getting bodied is the best way to learn, but most people in player matches only care about winning which pisses me the fuck up.
ranked is not a bad idea I have ran across good players in ranked, I usually invite them right after the match and have a few more private matches and if i think that playing them in the future will make me a better player I add them to my friends list.

i spend entirely too many games fucking around and doing nothing. I think my true skill is like 20 as a result lol

im glad you dont decline people jlike others do for no reason.

Yes and no. You can see someone with 2000 wins and 200 losses but a 25 trueskill and you know theyre just accepting and beating badkids. You can have a bad record but a really good trueskill rank and be pretty good, but if someone has a bad trueskill then they almost always are bad.

I love how some think I made this to brag, its cute <3

Who gives a shit.

Lmfao...too true.bro. I dont even zone most of the MUs, but youre spot on. Even if I did sit in a corner using h/l shots, is dashing and blocking that difficult?

If you guys are worried about people not playing you based off of your player info or character, my suggestion would be to change your background/emblem/etc. & hide your character selection. That way they won't see Deathstroke coming. ;)

If true skill level is based upon win/loss ratio then it's flawed because people fight themselves for rank points. Nah bruv, look at ma lvl yo

I think I have a true skill around 28 to 30 (I screw around most of the time online tbh because who cares) and i still get a majority of declines when I go trolling in player match.

trueskill is based off of who the game expects you to beat. if you face up against someone higher than you, you have a much better chance of leveling it up with a smaller penalty for losing than if you were facing someone of lower skill.

I hope you're good at math. ;)

I offer these equations:

Fast Rank Decrease = loss + worse player.
Average Rank Decrease = loss + equal player
Slow Rank Decrease = loss + better player
No Change = win + worse player.
Slow Rank Increase = win + equal player.
Average Rank Increase = win + better player.
Fast Rank Increase = win + much better player.

Feel free to modify these equations as you see fit if you disagree.
