Using a person's record as a measure of their skill makes for inaccurate results. There are a lot of people with a high win percentage that still suck because they pad their stats by preying on newbies and people with a low TS and a bad record to match. Although the system is flawed, TS is a better indication of skill because it takes the relative skill of their opponents into consideration. My TS rating is between 31 and 33. i guess thats good for someone that only uses joker. I usually measure skill by the wins and losses and never pay attention to the trueskill rating.
I don't know why NRS felt the need to give a ranked leaderboard to non-ranked matches. Having a ranked leaderboard for non-ranked matches makes it so that the only difference between Ranked and non-Ranked is that one can't decline when playing Ranked. That encourages stat padders to target people in non-Ranked since they can pick and choose their opponents and boost their rank in non-ranked (doesn't "rank in non-ranked" sound f'ing stupid?)
