Does HM work on these or are they grab immune?

HM works. No grab immunity here.
Its just like our own tech, BP works for it since they can't jump or backdash but we get shafted if they do a wake-up. On the other hand Shazam wrecks shop (beats BA lightning cage with b.23 as well as many MANY others) and has a faster grab to work with so his window is bigger.

Shazam takes the tech and does it with a line of meth. It works a lot better on him than it does us.

Its so hard for me not to make fun of this post, but Subzerosmoke would get mad at me if I did.

I'll leave it at this:
This is an empty community, and PPJ has a good shazam but until I see those players coming in here and posting tech as often and as thoroughly as I do for my character, then I don't think anyone has the weight to call someone else on their credibility.

Until I see you or anyone else place top 8 using mainly Shazam against decent opponents consistently, I'll refuse to believe this guy should be chastised for not knowing the MU numbers. 6-4 Zod at minimum? Did you know about his OTGs? His ability to blow up pretty much all of your wake-ups meterless after an AT for about 34% each time? Zod Charge, Force push, even super. The whole enchirito. The only thing it doesn't blow up is parry, and good luck making that a good option all things considered.

Know what? I bet 90% of the shazams you ask would tell you they don't know how to do it.

Not to show disrespect, I respect you as a player but as a community leader you should be coming in here with Zod info to help correct him, not harsh words to put down an already suffering part of the community.

I don't even like most of you. I just also don't like people bitching at people for underdeveloped characters.
I protect the tech. I don't care about the people, just the characters.

b.23 is harder to time, but it does the same thing and punishes super for a near full combo.
Can't block because command grab. Can't jump or backdash either because the game forces you to stay there and put yourself back to neutral.

But ya know...
6-4 Zod minimum, right?
reg torpedo isnt a hard knockdown though, this is an incomplete picture.

That's why b.23 exists. f.223 is just easier for me to time because I'm a filthy casual when it comes to non-Bane characters.

But yes, dash in b.23 will also cover tech rolls and tech roll wake-ups.

Or ya know, end a combo in your new higher damaged AC. Hard knockdown and lets you f.223 for free.

i'm not saying i'd want the ridicule, but i'd like some more replies tho :(, jk i'm fine with my thread. Glad my thread is going well and there is actually legit discussion going on.

b23 will not beat roll into wake up from what i have tested.
And even if it did, b23 def doesnt beat no roll into wake up.. so at the end of the day it's a 50/50 which if you think about it leaves you at the same place as ending a combo in AC leaves you and AC gives you more damage and more damage post wake up so no point in doing this set up really.

Its funny, right as you said that I went into the lab and did it with AT off of f.223 and it worked the exact same way so ya know...

can you post a video of this when you get a chance bc i cant get it to work and seeing it might help.
