Sure he got 5 or 6 bad mu but look how many mu are in his favour and all his bad mu are fully winnable 4-6 ain't that bad guys use that training mode

ok i'm not going to bother reading because I aint in the mood to be arguing or anything haha, but this is what DJT has as his bad matchups, I think yall would agree with these:
cyborg
sinestro
raven
Martian Manhunter
these are the only matchups he has as GL's bad matchups. The rest he has as 5 5s or GL wins. GL is an all-around animal and he doesn't lose to anyone 7 3 because up close, he's a force to be reckoned with and that is all.

Damit guys im just going to make my gl match up chart

Gl vs lex 6-4

No one has to agree with me but this just what i think and ive play the best of the best of people who use these char
Who was the "best of the best" Lex player you played that gave you that conclusion?

i'm very sure GL beats Lex. Main thing being the footsie game, which GL controls very well. Also He is able to zone him out and rush him down and keep him out the air. The best thing going for lex is when he gets a knockdown because GL doesn't have good wakeups.

Cyborg and Deathstroke......barely
GL doesn't have many bad match ups, and he shouldn't. Best hero DC's ever come up with.
............Someone beat me to the pencil joke >.<

yeah i'd give cyborg the slight advantage, but DS, low gun nerf sealed that chance.
I know this is crazy but I sort of feel like GL wins this matchup
it's possible, but since it is up in the air, 5 5 seems fine. Stages are very key in that matchup.

Yea I can be swayed on the DS matchup being 5-5, glad Cyborg seems unanimous though. Idk why everyone is saying Martian, that seems even to me but then again I haven't really faced a great MM yet.

Yeah I think you're right on that. If there's a lot of shit for DS to throw (like on Watchtower) then it's real hard for GL, but if the stage favors GL (like Arkham or something idk) then it seems good for GL.

The matchup is probably based on the stage.

I actually main MMH and me and my bro have ran that matchup multiple times. The matches are very close of course, but he has a harder time getting in on me than I have keep him away. The main thing that I believe gives MMH the edge is up close MMH is just as deadly and I can zone as well while GL can't zone like he usually does, which is why I have it slight MMH advantage but it is subject to change because GL is so dangerous up close.

Yea I can see that being a problem, but I don't necessarily think making a GL player play more cautiously makes it a bad MU. Maybe it's worse than I think it is though. If you're on PSN and ever wanna play some matches I'd like to see how bad this MU really is.

Since you have in depth knowledge of these match ups. Lets have you break them down. Explain how the bad match up's can be over come.

I'm pretty sure this thread is an exercise in denigration. Some high level players have accused GL players of down-playing, specifically anyone who says GL has more than 4-5 bad match-ups. Two people listing more than 4-5 bad MUs is apparently sufficient confirmation that the entire GL community consists of down-players. Never mind that GL is a character identified as one well-suited to beginners. If you are a pediatric heart surgeon who enjoys playing some Injustice when free time allows from your job of saving the lives of small children, who consequently has trouble with 7 match-ups, then honestly sharing your opinion here will confirm to them that you are an idiot and/or intentional down-player. Rather than taking the positive stop of accurately identifying which MUs are genuinely considered bad GL MUs by the pros, and helpfully articulating why and how one can overcome a perceived bad MU that "really" is not, they are more interested in laughing at you.

Overall, I have been very impressed by the TYM community, but this is a low point to me.
