Just saw Pacific Rim. Liked it a lot! I can't wait for a sequel...really impressed with the film!

Super stoked for next year's Godzilla movie too.

EDIT: BTW, I think the main character in that movie would play a good Aquaman, he's got the look.

MAXIMUM THE HORMONE! Damn, I love that song/band. For the most part it's nu-metal, although they combine elements from a lot of genres.

Nu-metal gets tons of flak from the metal community because it's usually heavy rock combined with rapping or hip-hop elements (e.g. early Linkin Park, surely you must've heard some of their stuff?) and they hate their genre being tampered with. It could be considered a completely different genre entirely as opposed to a sub-genre.
