Should we completely delete all Old MU/Combo/General Discussion threads +start over

The game is new

The damages are new

The combos are new

The MUs discussions from before are extremely outdated, imagine some people coming to the aquaman forums for first time and reading he has 8 bad MUs.

Everything is new

BASED ON THE PATCH I am highly recommending we all purge these existing threads and start a new with character representatives who can keep things updated (not named karried - no offense but seriously we need OPs written by people who can keep things current)


edit: So would everyone agree to unsticky them and make new ones keeping the other ones around but just not stickied ?

I wouldn't delete them. They're not all completely useless, and people put time and energy into analyzing and typing up information about match ups and everything
But yeah, close them, unsticky them, and make new ones. I know I don't want to be digging through old match up knowledge while I'm looking for new stuff, and it's even harder for new people. Have new threads to distinguish which info is current. Put links to the old ones in the new ones so that people can find the old ones if they need to or want to nostalgic about match ups from vanilla injustice or laugh at old match up numbers.

i think we should. everything should be deleted and redone with all the new information added in. everyone with their go to mains can pitch in and help in each forum. sounds like a good idea pig. but i have a feeling it wont happen mainly because people on here are just to lazy or either busy to retype so much data again.

What about characters that didn't really get affected though? Like DS for example MUs may possibly change but combos and set-ups are the same. Just more of them now.

Well most of the MU discussions threads are started by karried someone who doesnt play the game nor edit OPs every week to keep them recent

Good question. I would archive them. They are a piece of the Injustice history. It would be a shame to delete that history. New combo threads and MU threads should be started though.

If its needed, Grundy really hasn't changed much so he wouldn't really need it.

We will commence the process of closing all topics to do with game elements that pertain to the previous five versions of the game and open new threads for version 1.06. However, we won't delete them as whatever information they contain may still have its uses. Already we have one of our mods working on this.

I don't think completely deleting them is a good idea. They should be kept in some form, such as archived or converted to regular threads with the appendix OLD in parenthesis. There are reasons why out of date information is made available to users, such as for reference, for doing research and analysis, even for historical reasons, if you will. Having worked in software development for about a decade now (3 years of which has been in the game development industry), I can tell you that information is never deleted. Rather its status is changed to Archived or some such, because there always comes the time when somebody needs that information.
