Dean Norris agrees with me :coffee:
I am sure Dean Norris would be very displeased to see you make that claim. You are basically saying that anyone who argues that there is good in Walter, and that he is a character with a lot of depth, is foolish and simply wrong. You want us to label Walter as simply "evil". There is so much to discuss about the moral in the show, and I am sure Dean Norris wanted it to be that way. Saying that you agree wholeheartedly with Walter in everything he has done is something completely different.

not really, that's just you saying you think like VG. Everyone can have their own interpretation of a character and his choices.
Yes but often with characters like Walt you get the delusional superfan who really pays no attention and just thinks said character is "badass" and supports everything they do. VG obviously had a vision and loves his characters he has often vented his frustration with the fans and howsome of them interpret his work.

The only thing walt wont do is harm his family directly. But hes no issues with putting them in harms way constantly.

The only morality in a cruel world is chance.
So does everyone think Walter will go back to save Jesse from the Aryans in the end? Even after telling Jesse about Jane and not thinking twice about giving him up to the Aryans? I'm trying to think of another reason he would go to war with them other than to rescue Jesse.

Revenge for hank, and for them taking his money. Maybe the aryans kill Marie. Jesse will kill walt in the end.

And he has the right to his own opinions as a member of the audience, but it is opinions even if he created the story. I can write a story about a guy who kills a little kid to save 100 other people and label that guy as evil, and a whole lot of people would disagree with me. That's moral for you.

The only reason that would make sense to me is todd with jesse as his slave learns walts recipe. Walt somehow learns that this is the case. Walt with his evil pride would go on a nazi killing spree to protect his product and his creation this would include killing lydia. That scenario makes more sense than him going back just to save jesse.

Who do you think Walter will use the ricin on?
most likely candidate right now I would say is Lydia. She's always drinking something. I really doubt he would use it on himself, he doesn't want to suffer that kind of pain. And I don't see him using it on any of the Nazis since he has an M60. Todd will die by Jesse.

Also don't you think Jesse will be dead by the time Walter buys his huge ass gun? I mean the aryans only needed Jesse for a few cooks until Tod had it down pat. After that they would kill Jesse.

hmm maybe, but why make todd just cook by himself when they can double their production with 2 people. Doesn't look like Jesse is going to run off soon any way so why not keep him as a prisoner? I'd be surprised if they killed off jesse before the end. But i don't rule it out.

The way Walter basically gave up on being a part of his own family but leaving it in a state where Jr. would still love his mom (phonecall), it wouldn't surprise me if he saves Jesse too, without expecting things to be "cool" between them.. which it won't be.. ever.

Why did the aryans even leave Walter a barrel at all? Why not take it all and murder Walter right there? Was it only because his nephew Tod respected Walter

Currently playing as Lex Luthor.
This show seriously got me to sit down and think about a couple things, mostly law, morality, and popular opinion. They all tie into each other in a very depressing way. Ask yourself why we generally consider people who are in Walter's line of work to be 'bad' or immoral.

1. It's against the law.
2. Substances could have psychological and physical effects on those addicted.
3. Competition stirs violence among those competing for turf on which to deal.
4. We are told that it's dishonest and illegitimate by our friends/family.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, most people won't sit down and question why they generally have such a strong view on certain activities and lifestyles. What makes the 'bad' guy bad? A few things, here's the list:

1. Popular opinion.
2. Physical enforcement (of said opinions).
3. Harsh punishments for participating in such acts up to and including death in some countries.
4. Government propaganda.

What makes the bad guy bad? Short answer, YOU.

So what you are saying is murdering people isnt bad if you as the murderer dont think it is? Todd confirmed good guy? Hitler wasnt so bad cause he thought what he was doing was right?

Pretty much that. Jack said that his nephew wouldn't forgive him if something happened to Walt and Jack was in a very good mood too lol. He jut earned 70 million dollars.

Where do you stand on morals yourself? Would you kill 1 to save 100, or would it be wrong to kill someone no matter what the outcome is?

Id kill 1 to save 100 if the 1 wasnt me or someone i cared about. My morals have their lines like anyone else.
