Hanks probably a goner so ill be in mourning. Im backlogged on my dvr this week probably wont watch bb till tuesday. All my USA shows had season or series finales i gotta watch first.

Not going to spoil anything, but you're really not going to like this one.

Doubtful. I'm pretty sure he was doing that in order to clear Skylar from suspicion. That's why he took the blame for Hank's murder and was crying while doing so. At least that's the impression I got. If Walt had kept the baby, I would have thought otherwise.

I have to watch the scene again because I can't think properly while watching this episode.

I think you're exactly right about this.

I think he wants to have Skyler and his family put into protective services because he realizes at this point there is nothing he himself can do to protect them.

I couldn't close mine. My mind kept saying "no... that won't happen.... no way"
The problem was that what I thought wasn't going to happen.... wasn't even close. Shitstorm.

he'll just harp on how Hank is the best ever and that this was all clearly going to happen and that Walt is just an over-exaggeration of a psycho path.

The opening scene and the closing scene kind of tied everything all together.

There were so many reasons that I think the opening scene worked so well for this episode.

I think hanks death might have caused him to have a heart attack. Or maybe he's ready to jump from a window.

Not how I read it. He took the baby to spite his wife, and he took her so he could have a piece of his family. He is selfish and horrible. He needed to continue to justify his actions to himself (did it for my family), but he wouldn't be able to do that without, you know, having a family. Toward the end of his conversation, yes, it did cross his mind to attempt to spare Skylar, but he intended to keep his daughter when he took her.

He never wanted Hank to die because Hank was family. Walter only wanted to preserve Hank because he saw Hank as a means to preserving his(Walter's) family. See, it's always about Walter somehow. However, thankfully Walter is dead, figuratively speaking. Changed into something else, something not Walter White, and not Heisenberg. Walter needs to die violently. It won't happen, but it should. Todd needs to be tortured, and then violently killed. Todd's uncle and crew...you get the picture.

I'm gonna have to strongly disagree. That's not saying your interpretation is wrong or in any way less valid, but I think there's stronger evidence supporting the way I see it.

First up, Walt offered to give up ALL 80 million dollars he had saved up in exchange for Hank's life. Giving up the money and letting Hank live would have only put him and his family in more danger. He would have no money left for them, and Hank would have to explain the loss of Gomie and his injuries to the DEA which would be the perfect start towards building a case against Walt. I believe that Walt honestly wants to keep his entire family safe, even if it means giving up all that he's worked for. I believe that proves Jesse wrong when he says the one thing that Walt would never ever let go of was his money.

As far as the baby's concerned, if he took her to spite his wife (like he said on the phone), then he would not have left her at the station. Walt pretty much waiting a few hours, when the police would have certainly arrived, then called and layed out a complete confession to them. Not only that, his aggressiveness towards Skylar was to make her seem like a victim. I believe it all ties together neatly if you think about what would have happened had Walt left the money and the baby there. If the police arrived they would have confiscated the money, and more than likely taken Holly away from Skylar to protect her. By "kidnapping" Holly and leaving her at the station, Walt pretty much confirms that Skylar had nothing to do with it, and makes certain that the rescued baby is sent back to Skylar, rather than taken by the police. To me, this seems like the kind of thing we should expect from Mr. White.

Damn, i completely forgot about her character after tonight's episode. I honestly haven't a clue.
