The main issue was that you gained little to no life, only to lose it when the opponent attacked you due to wanting to hold it all the way because you gained nothing to begin with... lol

This is good. And keep in mind, its a preview. :)
If it works like that it will be great. However by the time the trait kicks in you usually have to stop doing it thus getting nothing (except cancelling into a special) as is. :(

If this patch is true, it mathematically sounds like...

Lets say his trait now gives him
1 percent/second

With the buff, 2x as much health, twice as fast:
2 percent / .5 seconds = 4 percent per second.

Although the first number may not be right, after the buff, cyborgs should be generating health 4 TIMES AS MUCH as before.

But who ever writes these has issues with spelling and probably math, I'm guessing its just 2 times as much as pre-patch.

When they released Lobo buffs, I thought it was kind of cool.

Now after around 5 characters this is just fucking aggravating. They dont even give us the full patch notes. Just wait until they are all done and release them for fucks sake.

I don't get it: twice as fast or twice as much seem like 2 ways of saying the same thing. If you add those 2, it would result in 4 times more regen.. as @Maxintensity25 said.

Unless "twice as fast" means a faster startup on trait. Could it be?

Outside of like making Powerfist a true pop up, I don't really know what you could even do for Cyborg, he is just so simple.

His trait is also terrible and shouldn't be made good, health regen in fighting games is always a bad idea.
Except in certain situations like system mechanics like wager.

I was thinking the same thing when I read it. Those are the first two items. It heals twice as fast AND twice as much, thus you are correct, Sir, it should be 4x as much as before if this patch note is accurate. Otherwise we have to assume whoever wrote that didn't complete elementary school mathematics.

Yeah it has a cap currently. When patched, the cap will be twice as much. Not that anyone will ever be able to reach that cap. Lets say you could only get 20% back before. Now, you will be able to get 40% back.

Makes sense.. well so the twice as much thing seems pretty much useless, right? Since nobody seems able to regaind the whole health capacity anyway, in an actual match
 
As one of the very very very few Cyborg mainers I'm alright with these changes. Now his trait heals four times as much as it used to with a longer cooldown. Jump cancelling out of trait would have been a really cool change..oh well. I guess I'll be using Repair Circuit more (particularly after b123 and f22) instead of always going for a Target Acquired set-up. I really wish they would buff TA for more damage and/or faster start-up.

Grapple Hook being easier to combo into is going to be troublesome because on occasion I accidentally and unintentionally GH during combos. So now with it being easier to combo into it's also going to be easier to accidently do it. Ugh.

If only they let you meter burn Sonic Disruptor to stun your opponent for combos Cyborg would be a force to reckon with.

You guys are never satisfied... you want bigger and better buffs but all you would get with that shit is just another Superman.

What happens in an update/patch for SF4? Most times all you get is a better hitbox on a normal or two and a 1f speed increase on a normal. That's it and it makes ALL the difference.

Please NRS community, shut the fuck up and be happy that the devs are willing to even do anything for you. Because if you keep acting like fools, maybe they will say fuck you guys and just release future games for the masses and not tournament players.

I highly doubt Cyborg would become the "next Superman" if they buffed Cyborg's Target Acquired or even made his Sonic Disruptor crumple the opponent. Vic could definitely use more buffs than what this "taste" has prescribed.
