Why is Killer Instinct being released as an incomplete game furthermore why should I feel good about buying A xbox1 and KI for $575 when I won't even have the full copy of the game till dec '14.

If he starts listing why buying a Xbox 1 is itself is worth the $$$ then I ask you to inform him I don't play video games, only fighters

Because Microsoft rushed them into making the game available at launch. I feel sorry for you if all you play is fighters. A next-gen console won't be worth purchasing solely for fighting games for at least 2-3 years. Better off sticking to the current-gen which is littered with fighting games.

Btw Pig, when's the next Kyrptonite Academy video? Love those episodes you have made to far.

If things dont pan out well with microsofts XB1 launch , could KI see a ps4 release at a later date?

Microsoft owns the KI IP.

The only way it would ever come to PS4 is if xbox tanked so badly MS shut it down and sold off all there VG IP's.
Which will not happen, and even if they pulled out of the VG business, they still probably wouldn't sell the IP's, they would just hoard them.

If we purchase the ultra edition, are the subsequent series of characters free?

I recall reading this was apparently the case, but would like a concrete answer.

Also, what can he tell us about the tutorial mode; how extensive will the practice mode be I.e record CPU function, hitbox viewer etc; and whether or not online mode will have a record feature.

Well I havent played video games per say since Hmm 2005? I only only ps3 and xbox360 and the older consoles for fighters

Last real game i played was maybe God of war trilogy and before that was Dead Space 1 and before that final fantasy 10 i think

Damn..that's cray cray. I could not even imagine playing nothing but FGs. I own about every FG availabke to the 360 but most of my time playing games is with Battlefield and FIFA.

Will the emulated version of KI1 that we get with the $40 bundle be playable online at any point in the future?

i think i heard somewhere that they want to make it happen but its low on the priorities list compared to making the story, characters, stages ect

im sure if there is enough interest it will happen eventually

Where they using a PC to run 1080p at 60fps on prefiews and trailers? It seems like after they started using Xbone the graphics down graded by a lot. The game doesnt look as beautiful now that they r using xbone consoles tbh.

Pig, look forward to the next Krypotonite Councel when you release it post patch. Please "breakdown" every character and how you feel about they're Pro's/Cons. I am especially looking forward to your Lobo assessment.

My question to devs:

Would scores, combos, damage etc be recorded/saved as the old KI´s son one can brag about them? Better yet, is there going to be an online function to this so we can get to some kind of "combo leaderboard" to see who is the one that has done most hits/wins/damage/etc with every character?

I loved that feature of the arcade originals (and KIG and was really sad that the snes one couldnt save records) and every time you went to the arcades you tapped down on the stick to see if someone had "broken your best ultras" etc
