I'd do Louisville in a heart beat.
Yea Louisville would be pretty sweet lol. Its only like 20 to 30 minutes from me. We have enough people to get something going. We just need a placeI'd do Louisville in a heart beat.
Well I live in bullitt county its north in kentucky. So you are from KY ELC?Anyone else from Northern Kentucky here? Might hit y'all up for some sparring ^_^.
Yep: just never knew there was much of a scene in the Florence-Covington area, so I usually go to Arcade Legacy in Cincinnati every now and then for tournaments.Well I live in bullitt county its north in kentucky. So you are from KY ELC?
Ahh ok well your about 2hrs from me and the Louisville area. see? though background may be a different thing all together.
I would love to go to Bluegrass Magic Company. 3bucks a hour isn't bad at all.If you guys want to do it in Louisville I know a place. I believe it's called the Bluegrass Magic Company, and it's right off the interstate coming from Lex. It's like 3 bucks an hour for games, only one person has to pay for that hour and we can all play. They have two big screens, and Xbox and Ps3, and plenty of chairs. DJ Rhamsey from Shoryuken had a SF/MK tournament there back in June. The owners were kind of dbags that day, but not bad enough to make me not want to go back.
I knew nothing about these scenes. Where exactly are you speaking of? Also wish I could do the Nashville thing with you for casuals but may be a bit to far for casual play. If you guys get a tourney going might be a different story. Shogun do you mind me putting you on the KY list of Players?Theres a scene in Lexington, Louisville, and Bowling Green. Us down around the Bowling Green area sometimes go down to Nashville, if you guys ever wanna hit up the scene there send me a PM.
Let me know a couple of days in advance and I'll make the drive anytime. Might have to bring my own PS3 though. Don't think they have the DLC or the unlocked characters.I would love to go to Bluegrass Magic Company. 3bucks a hour isn't bad at all.
Ok if this is a spot people would like to go im down for it. Hey Kentuckian! lol..welcome to TYM by the way, and I will add you to the listI'm in Lexington and would be down to get together. I'll keep checking on this post to see what we've got going on!
Living in Elizabethtown(just South of Ft. VietKnox) I definetly be down for making the trec to L'ville to get down on some Offline MK! Especially after the stuff I'm waiting for from Lizardlick.com comes in to make my HitBox. Just gimme a few days notice and I'll be there. If you guys want to do it in Louisville I know a place. Yo sorry man, I've been readjusting to college and all that stuff. So far Saturdays seem like a go, I still have the nice wide area to play in, but for people who might wanna drink a little I got my buddy's place as well. Counting him and myself there is about five of us here (the other four non forum members) who wanna play. So yeah if Louisville sounds too far, you can come here.Ok so who all is in favor of Bluegrass Magic Company? It is located in Louisville...
Also Flair is there any update on your situation for morehead? I personally won't be able to come out every event but could make a showing everyonce in a while. Also your place might be closer to some people here then going to Louisville
I'll pay the 3 bucks an hour and can bring my ps3 with all dlc. They let us do that last timeI stopped by Bluegrass Magic today to get some information about the possibility of having some MK play in the area. The news... wasn't perfect, but it's what it is. Here's what I got.
1. It's 360 only, which means PS3 users (like myself) need to suck it up.
2. Much like someone else mentioned, it's $3 an hour per console.
3. Sadly, they won't run video game tournaments anymore, due to some unruly conduct by players of a previous fighting game scene (I didn't ask which one, but I'd assume it was SF4). Apparently, players were bringing alcohol into his store, which was strictly prohibited, so it's definitely a case of one ruining it for everyone.
With all of this, I did ask if we could run our own tournament, but we would obviously still have to pay the hourly rate. So it's a mixed bag.
I can't make any promises, but let me know about an exact date.
