Injustice Pals Random Discussion Thread V2

Slaughter is the Best Medicine
Ah yeah... still, not to get the Sony fanboy out but DualShock 4 seems a teeny bit godly. That's what most people who've used it seem to have thought, too. Yeah for MK on PC... I thought about it earlier. I might just not worry about it though, I do fine with a control on Injustice (PS3) and don't think I need to buy one just for MK9... Thanks though.

I have like 5 Xbox 360 controls but none that work with PC unless you download dodgy programs or I can buy one that has a thing to make it work that is legit.

Thanks, but I think I'll just leave it. I'm happy with Injustice anyway, it was only 8 bucks (new release games here start anywhere between $88-$118. Normally $100.)
I hate Playstation controllers myself. The analog sticks are not in a place that feels natural and comfortable to me. 360 controller & GameCube controller > PS3 controller in my opinion.

I plan on getting an Xbox One controller for my PC.

Ah yeah.

I like everything about the DualShock 3 except for 2 things: The triggers are rounded outwards so your fingers slip off, and same with the triggers, your thumbs slide off easy, but both of those are fixed in the DualShock 4.

that probably won't work right away, they neglected to prepare drivers for PC

"There is some work that we need to do to make sure that existing PC games that support the Xbox 360 controller will work with the Xbox One controller," a Microsoft spokesperson told Kotaku via email. "While it seems trivial, it’s actually quite a bit of dedicated work for all that to be seamless for the user. We know people want to use the Xbox One controller on their PC, and we do too--we expect to have the functionality available in 2014."

You're welcome.

Release Check off to deactivate Negative Edge.
It's on by default, I'm sure.
Hmmmm... okay, thanks man.
I was in the Joker combo thread the other day as I main the Joker and one part of one of his combos was D2xxFar Teeth, and I for the life of me could not get it--so I asked about it and someone told me I need to turn release check off, so I guess I'll give it a go.

I get how it would help, I wonder how it will effect me in all of the other combos I do..
Negative edge/release check is essentially a feature that is supposed to make doing certain specials easier, for example if you want to do Batgirl's BF3, after holding back and blocking for a few seconds then you can just slide over to F and press 3 with negative edge on; with it off you'd have to let go of back, then press it again and do F3.

The feature kinda sucks on NRS games though, it can often give you moves that you didn't input (MK9 has the same problem and you can't fix it, it's either negative edge or a straight-up input bug, can't remember). Turning it off should make certain combos a lot easier.

...I really hope this post makes sense because I'm bloody tired.

Yes it makes a lot of sense, thank you.

Do you have it on or off?

Off. It does nothing but mess up specials. When I played Black Adam around release I'd press db3 and get db2 sometimes, reeeeeeeaaaaaally annoying.
Okay, thanks.
Yeah, one of Joker's best things, D2 the crazy range anti-air into teeth, was undoable with it on, it would cancel D2 into rolling laughing gas instead of teeth.
But now it's fine.

Agreed. I'd like more skin packs because one of my mains still doesn't have a DLC skin. Maybe if she was in a movie, she'd get more love from WB/NRS.
Yeah.

Red Hood and Robin are the last things I want without getting greedy and unrealistic.

Oooh. From what I'm reading some side-missions in Origins will only be playable after the main story is done.
Oh cool.
Is there some new information about anything else?
