Any anime fans out there playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch? I picked it up last week and it is visually amazing. The animation was done by Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) so it looks like an anime. I could easily see someone walking by asking, "what anime are you watching?" "This isn't an anime, this is a video game." "Really?!"

I remember playing Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 and thinking it was like playing an anime, but this is a whole other level. I can't wait to see what the next-gen games will be like.

2011, a.k.a the summer of steins;gate was legendary. during the season in which it aired, every new episode came out in japan on tuesdays and so we dubbed them "tuturuu tuesdays" and everyone got mega hype for the next episode on just about every anime forum

I was MIA during that season. The show was so good though. Did the movie come out yet?

Uh... I have no idea what I'm looking at on those two pages, probably why I've never seen a visual novel.

Is there no pay version? I prefer to support anime I watch, which is why I only do anime through Crunchyroll/Daisuki/Funimation.

Haha holy shit I was so unexpecting that. Like seriously I didn't think they'd go that far. Plus I don't get why they never developed the Sakura arc. Like they just mentioned on the last ep of the regular season, "yep, Kyousuke's not all that great anymore. GGs no re" so I'm kind of disappointed of that. But I haven't read the final novel and I will now even though I already know what's going to happen.

The game was released for free so no need to pay. First link is vndb which is a giant list of visual novels basically. You can use it to find any vn you want with plenty of ways to search. Second link is the website for umineko if you are interested, if you follow the link it has all the downloads on one page. The game is broken into 2 parts, the question arcs and the answer arcs. The question arc has episodes 1-4 which is what you want to play through first. The answer arc has epsidoes 5-8 which you play through once you complete the first game. Just go to this page http://witch-hunt.com/links.html and download the question arcs to install it and you should be set.

I know it's an anime thread, but anyone reading Kangoku Gakuen? (Prison School?)

One of the funniest manga's I've read, and it also occasionally gets really tense. But... warning it's REALLY ecchi heavy. Like it's overdone in a way that it's obviously a joke lol.

LOL that's nothing new. iKritikal yo you read the Btooom! manga right? Damn it's so much more graphic that the anime. It makes more sense that Himiko is so traumatized in the manga than the anime

The whole season so far is pretty boring aside from Ep 5. And Ep 6 was a total rip-off. They just summarized what happened in Nekomonogatari.

They should just stop fucking around and release Kizumonogatari. I want to see a vamp Araragi already lol.

DJ L Toro where you at? OreImo S2 OVAs are out now. I have a feeling that the series might continue just to milk it. Maybe they'll animate Meruru and/or Maschera lol.

i saw, but cant watch them till tuesday when i finally get decent internet T_T moving sucks, lol (as far as where i'm at, not really using this site anymore, checked in on a whim today, lol)

Apparantly there making a new season of Hajime no Ippo (boxing anime). I hyped for that at the moment, though it's not as popular in the states.

Watching it now (ended up playing bioshock dlc yesterday, lol),
my reaction to the 1st OVA: ... what? LMAO those speakers
2nd: k... wait why am i getting used to the idea of them being together? lol
3rd: OH YEAH, i forgot about her! jeez the game club thing is so japanese. The same thing happens in persona 4 (if you want the true ending).

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUCK? THAT'S REALLY .... WHAT? lol
I'm not content with that ending, i wanted him and manami together :/
