I always figured Dick was the better fighter personally.

Also, why do people want Atrocitus? Do people like him? I wasn't aware people actually care about him. XD

Wasn't that fight just for show though? To fool Joker if I remember right. Before the New52 anyways, Dick beat Jason after Jason beat Tim in Battle for the Cowl.

And Dick doesn't come close to beating Black Canary. He got destroyed by Lady Shiva. Black Canary can at least hold her own.
You're right, that fight was to fool Joker but they were being serious, they had to otherwise Joker would see right through the act.

And Dick may have gotten destroyed when he first became Robin but not as Nightwing.

She showed up again in his comic not too long ago. They had a more even fight this time but from the sounds of it, she wasn't even fighting him seriously.

And then she hasn't been mentioned since. DC writers. lol

Yes they fought again, Nightwing was fighting with broken ribs and still managed to land a couple blows. He was too busy trying to protect his Rib area that shiva caught on and used it against him. She even said he was fighting at a disadvantage.

Dick tried to be modest about it but shiva said it made a whole lot of difference. So you never know how well dick would've fared if he wasn't injured.

I give NW props as I think he's a very underrated H2H fighter. The thing is, the guy is an exceptional athlete. If you fight him at a construction site or in a city, he's gonna whip your ass because he's gonna find something to jump off of or twirl off of and grab and swing from and you're not gonna be able to touch him.

But if it's like in an arena or in an MMA cage, BC takes him.

I'm a Dick fan but, but Jason gives him a great fight. Can go either way. Jason is getting better every day being the leader of his new crew in the New 52.

Hopefully they write something cool for NW because his new comics have been okay, nothing ground breaking. I hope Nightwing continues to develop as a character, I feel like he's one of DC's most slept on characters, has potential to be bigger IMO.

It would be nice some news could come out of gamescon with it being a con for games and gamers and such XD... Boon could feel this is a time of giving andf sharing information with fans and such... you know just throwing it out there

I know the class of the Robins pre-52

This is about the new 52

With that being said, I think Jason can battle NW h2h equally if he could shut up.

Nightwing vs Canary h2h?? I don't know too much about her rebooted self so I can't say.

Jason is tied with the League of Assassins arc now, where Cheshire whooped Green Arrow, Arsenal and Starfire's asses with no problem. Now if Red Hood could get his memory back and hold his own against her than you will see his real h2h skills.

MAkes sense, still I have no idea how good black canary is in the new 52 so I can't really compare her to Nightwing yet. Only time I've seen Black Canary in action is in a sparring match against Batgirl and that wasn't really anything serious.

SPOILER!!!

As of Red Hood and the Outlaws #23, Jason has just gotten more badass... He can now materialise mystical Swords right out of the palms of his hands .

How cool would this be if he could do this in Injustice :)

Hopefully NRS talked to the comic book guys and knew this was going to happen. This would definitely give Jason interesting moves if he can summon these blades from thin air. His moveset is gonna be KRAZY! ;)

YES YES IT WOULD lol, i dunno how much counceling NRS actually has on this characters... usually from experience with this kinda stuff from the industry the company with the licences for said characters prodives material on where they can base themselfs and some advices but its NRS place to actually do the labour and put 1 + 1 to create a character... he doesnt even have to be very faithfull, just faithfull enouth that powers match and appearances coincide... considering this comics are usually written 1 month in advance yes its plausable that the current writter of Red Hood and the Outlaws could have provided this information or in this case DC and WB provided this information to NRS... but it seems hard since this 4 characters probably have been mostly concluded and are just being polished for a while now... i dunno how much of a sizable team they have working on 1 character at a time but usually for fighting games i would estimate that 1 character would take this time and amount of work to complete:

Step 1: concepts brainstorming and ideas : this process is usually pretty fast considering, assets and looks for the character will be picked out of a line up of usually 1 to 3 concept artists this if they are doing originals if they already have a look for him saying new 52 por example this process will be faster... after this follows prepearing the concept for a workflow on a 3d program... this first step usually takes around a few days to maybe 1,2 weeks (considering the complexity of the models Injustice uses)

Step 2: modeling, texturing, detailing the character: i dunno what tecniques they are using but usually its straight forward from a 3d program for low poly version this takes 2 3 days depending on how fast they are working and how many ppl are working on the character ( by this i mean it could be 1 person doing character and weapons and visuals) but its usually 2 3 guys working in groups, so yeah i say this full process is about a time frame of 3 days to 1 week... after low poly version, UVs are done the model goes into a scult program for detail like wrikles or maybe the scratch details on armors you know stuff like that... this usually doesnt take very long maybe 1 days work. and finally getting the character ready to animate, not sure how long it takes (since i suck at doing skeletons for characters lol so i take a LONG time to do it myself, a pro would probably knock this off somewhat fast)

Step 3: animation, framework, Visual effects... this process im not 100% sure how long it lasts cause it really depends on how many specials a character has or how many visuals are added to said character, so this step really is about how complex the character is so timelines are variat...

Step 4: Incorporation into the game engine, polishing out anything that could be off and related stuff: ill be honest i know praticly nothing about game engines and programing so not much info i can give here.. from what i see from co workers and such its usually somewhat tuff and could take a bit of time... atleast to make sure the character has no bugs and everything is working as it should...

Step 5: inhouse testing, beta alpha testing the character. not much explaining here to do everyone know what this step is about...

Step 6: getting the DLC aproved and all that stuff... this could also take some time, not to NRS falt ofc Sony and Microsoft sometimes can be a pain to deal with in terms of DLC content...

Went on a bit on this sorry if this bores you guys, but if anyone is interested in knowing in a simplified way how this all works here you have it guys, just a very simplified step program on how you do a characcter

Not to be an ass, but I'm a game/movie development fanatic. They wouldn't model and animate a character without it getting approved first, right?

Im really not going into much detail here... honestly i could talk bout this all day, but lets say it depends on the interaction one company has to the other. i know your not trying to be an ass its a very good question actually let me give you an example then to explain what happens then.

in the initial roster, you have original designs based on the theme of a character lets say for instance the normal and Regime costumes right...they are original designs created by the concept team of NRS, this costumes need to be pre approved by WB and DC before NRS has the green light to start the workflow for the characters in question... for the said 2nd season characters MMh Zatanna... the only approvement they need is for the character itself im assuming, since their costumes so far are Cannon to their stories respectfully... so if the character is approved lets say they want to add Red Hood.. they present the request saying "we want to incorporate New 52 Red Hood in the game" and if he is approved as is, no really concept needs to be done by NRS since DC usually has concepts from the original design they( the artist that took over the series) made before the character was put in the comics... so NRS only has to create concepts ready for a 3d workflow and they are good to go...

if you have anymore questions feel free to ask or to create a conversation with me ill be happy to answer and explain anything im able to.

I don't really care if he doesn't get magical swords coming out of his hands in the have, just felt the need to share this my you Red Hood fans.

The New 52 is really taking Jason to another level, it looks like he's supposed to become the new leader of the league of assassins.

I fuckin love it! Jason Todd is definitely becoming his own character.

Red Hood

The real Batman!
In that comic..... is there a reason why Jason is acting like a bitch?
Well he was not quite as bad as he was in Teen Titans. It was cool in Under the Red Hood since there was a clear reason. I didn't mind though. in the new 52 they built off that and made him mature and grow.

*watches as he acts like a bitch*

Huh?

in the new 52 they built off that and made him mature and grow.
So...... the reason why he acted like a bitch in this issue is because....... he's maturing?

I just wanna know why he's acting so bitchmade. Is he under mind control? He looks unsure of himself and let Shiva talk to him like he's a bitch. Is it because he doesn't have his helmet on?

Oh, I assumed you were talking about Red Hood: Lost days comic from my signature. If you are referring to the scan with the swords then I dunno, may have something to do with manifesting swords from his hands and then them talking to him, then him being thrown into a war and declared leader on the spot. But then again, after all he has seen and been through up until that point it does make him out of character. My issue hasn't come yet so I don't know for sure, but yeah it is odd Jason would let someone talk to him like that, let alone freak out about something like this. The guy meant he was badass based on his new ability.

Short answer: Bad writing?
