In response to the question of "Where's the Canadians"....

Jer the last time I talked to him was focusing more on SF and zaf is still playing Injustice but more focused on MK I'm told. Toryuken was Lolling Octopus' last major I think. I don't think he's so into the competitive scene any more.

Death hasn't been seen since Toryuken.

w1nter warz is on haitus while he finishes school and looks for work in his field. He still comes out to Toronto events but won't travel until he lands a job.

k-frog quit competitive gaming entirely to focus on his other endeavours.

matterovermind and I were at EVO along with a new guy from Toronto with the screen handle of Koogle (or something like that). "Let me pot monster for you!" Epic @Pig of the Hut quote from EVO :D

I have not been enjoying igau. I am not sure what it is, but I guess I just do not enjoy the footsies game that igau offers... Maybe it is because I have not found my character that makes me want to play like the three of you recently have. I mean I really enjoyed raven, i also enjoyed batman but not as much as raven. I wanted to go hard with scorpion but I feel he is practically unplayable.... or just no one knows what to do with him anymore. Maybe that killed it for me... who knows. I have actually been going hard as fuck in mk9. Been playing it a lot on pc with europeans and playing on ps3. I was actually supposed to go to like 3 tournaments as of late but I cant due to a new job.

Jer is in the same boat as me, has no enjoyment playing igau.
Death is afraid to come out of hiding after saying superman sucks.

AK Pig Of The Hut, Showtime informed me that you said Houston as falling off (I do plan on listening to the rest of this as I always do.) Honestly... we agree, and have no problems with you saying it. It's true. However, Showtime and I are working on something that hopefully will make you retract that statement. I am cool with a lot of the Houston scene, not just KH, but KH is not 100% dedicated like they used to be w/ MK. Sorry KH, I'm just calling a spade a spade. They are playing SF and Marvel now, as well. I'm not making up excuses for them b/c a lot of the rest of the community does the same thing. As I said, hopefully soon you'll respectfully have to retract that statement due to KH's actions not words.

I plan on leaving the tourneying to the youngsters as I'm focusing more on cultivating this scene into becoming a force. I don't have to worry about Kabal and Superman on this side. Keep up the good work Pig. You do a lot of good for this community. And Showtime's doing his work on MGCradio.blogspot.com

However if I were to elaborate further what I was saying was KH accomplishments creates huge expectations and while haven't delivered yet I know Showtime Cat scar and that handy savage guy (who kicks ass) definitely will

Also u guys might have the #1 shazam

Also if we were to record after seeing what I saw last night I would have said a lot more differently

It's definitely not a shot though

I agree about the Sektor point if I had to pick an MK character to compare him to as far as his standings compared to the rest of the cast. Great against some, fucked against others.

You are right. Haven't listened to oodcast yet. But we sure havent delivered yet.
But we are picking up speed. Starting weeklies to keep us at our toes amd hitting the lab. Scars flash will be a problem in the future. My black adam is obviouslu still new so I was not confident with him at all. I will def hit the lab with him, actually sit down and look at match ups and options in situations. Joker is my favorite but at this point he is not viable and losing harshly to some chars will just discourage me from playing the game period. This is why im focusing on black adam, he is fun to me, hes such a boss char and he manages to let me play the game for longer than 30 min without getting bored.
Handy is new to the offline scene , but in time he will put in work.
Digits shazam keeps on leveling up as well and showtime seems to be hungry.

Im not pleased with my level of play just yet to start traveling. Once I feel up to par, expect us all to make trips

AK Pig Of The Hut me and TAS_DASH will be getting a venue for the Houston scene hopefully this week , will be something like WNF with AE/Marvel/Injustice. So look out for a lot bigger turnouts since more games then just injustice will be there.

My batman is leveling a lot every sessions. Im sure in about a month or two I will feel confident enough with bruce to start traveling,. Hopefully Fall Classic

Cat has found some cool ass tech with Joker since the game first came out. I think he should be on.

Just gunna give some insight on where were at (Montreal at least), Zaf and I stopped playing because the both of us got bored of it. At Toryuken, I did place top 8(with KF), then Zaf and I went to ECT being the only Canadians, I believe Zaf got 25th and I got 17th barely losing to JRosa in game 3. After this we both got really bored with the game, as good and cheap KF is, she wasn't very fun. Another tournament came up in Montreal, and I pretty much bodied everyone for free, I only used KF in two matches, with using Batgirl(my actual main) in all my other matches, and actually winning GF 3-0 with Nightwing.

If I decide to play again, I'll be maining Batgirl, unless Zatanna or Red Hood are added in.

The bromance thing about zaf and I is pretty true, but we always travel to tournaments together so it is what it is. Also GGA 16 Bit I only have a couple tanktops that are that long >_> Plus I'm skinny so yeah.
