The Reptile Props Thred

Creating this thread to give some much-needed props to an often-maligned character, our dear friend Reptile. VxG should help close the book on him being considered a viable character.

Here's to him hanging in there in and going out at majors with a bang. Two Reptile players really showed up and put in work at VxG.

Reptile, we salute you. Some people owe you apologies :p

ITS NOT THE CHARACTER ITS THE PLAYER
REPTILE BOTTOM 5
DOESNT MATTER ITS CHRIS G

I've always said if Reptile wasn't top 10, he was damn close to it, and I've mained Reptile since the game came out. Go blow up Chef instead.

Day 0 Phenomenal Dr. Fate and Darkseid player
MIT or Showitme has I think.

Mitsu got close to beating curbo 2 days ago.
MIT beat who?

Show time beat who?

Please remember top kabal means that player has made top 8 at Evo or multiple majors

Please take a moment and really think

The only morality in a cruel world is chance.
All the reptile mains will still downplay the hell out of him.

Reptile will never be downplayed at GGA. I don't get the logic here...how does Reptile being represented well here at an albeit small tournament = he's not good? The fact is: this character does well (enough) against the very best characters in the game, which makes him tournament viable by default. The best characters represented by top competition were there; you'd have to be crazy to not see the MK talent at VxG.

Or lets try this another way: How did Kenshi do at VxG? (I actually don't know the answer; no one played him there - right?) That's the exact reason why we don't see more reptiles represented normally at our tournies; our scene is too small to have every top 10 character represented in every tournament. (If Kenshi was there, pick Cyrax or some other top 10 character, same point.)

Just my .02 guys,
