So today at VxG there was a discrepancy with the way Injustice players were being seeded, that ended up putting well-known MK9 players above the CEO/UFGT and EVO champ:

Seeds:
1) Wafflez
2) 16 Bit
3) CD Jr.
4) Chris G
5) PR Balrog
6) KDZ

KDZ and Chris G were scheduled to play each other in round 2.

Someone finally realized this and called them on it -- bracket now has to be redone.

Is this for real? I was just about to comment how I actually enjoyed Gga's commentary and gameplay yesterday in mk... And now this?

How the fuck could anyone not have KDZ as number one?! In fact, just use the Evo placements as a rule of thumb for christ sake... KDZ, Chris g, rog should get the top three seats.

Right, even if all you did was check the winners of the last 3 majors, and didn't know anything about the other placings, you'd have known to put KDZ and Chris G 1st and 2nd.

Chris G and Rog would have met in Round 3 while Wafflez would have had a clear path to Winners Semis.

That's based on looking at the bracket that was sent to me. It confirms what was said.

I figure they might not have used the challonge brackets to do the seeding, but then I looked at the bracket and saw that Jr. and KDZ would have had to meet in Round 3 despite being 3rd and 5th at CEO while the toughest player Wafflez would have had to face before Winners Semis is Rip.

My hope was that they did not used the challonge seeds. But when I looked at the bracket, nothing was right -- and I can see why they redid it. I'm curious to see what comes to light once more information comes out.

VxG has not been using a computer to run brackets. If that was on a napkin it be more believable.

No troll -- found out from people at the scene, and they sent the bracket to back it up.

The reason they were apparently trying to run on computer today, is because of what you saw happen yesterday with MK9.
