DJ L Toro has been confirmed for most knowledgeable commentator. His "Kabal is broken and braindead" argument seemed to go MIA when Perfect Legend was sent to losers by 16 Bit.

Jesus Christ this. I enjoy L Toro in small doses on the forums (emphasis on small doses), but good grief, he was atrocious on the mic.

I never listen to the OBS show (nothing against them), but I think I will for their next show just to see how they'll defend the clusterfuck, especially since they bury every tournament in sight.

Also, when someone is trying REAAAALLY hard to sell you something, chances are it isn't that great. This tournament is proof.

Not to be a dick but pretty much any time he opened his mouth (which was OFTEN). The worst part was him basically ranting about Kabal during pretty much every match, giving an awful assessment of the DJT/REO match at EVO, and saying Kabal beats all the cast at least 7-3 (I shit you not). Not to mention the inaccuracies and false information during match-ups.

i got 9th to kabal (curbo/jr). i'd beat either of them without kabal

The Mortal Kombat Saga continues. With 36 entrants, there have been some fierce matches represented on stream. There have been some upsets like THE_RAGE_10 defeating SUKUZABI for the 7th time, but there could only be one true standout of the tournament; DJ L Toro. Toro represented extremely strong footsies, fundamentals, mb b3s, and general Kitana gameplay. He breezed his way through the fierce competition of LOCO4U69 and EMP | VXG | DABEECH 2 REEL. He gracefully danced to his favorite remix of Cher's "Believe," after defeating his last opponent in top 16. Toro popped off with the utmost respect and his fate was announced to him. "You have one more match for top 8." Toro is now waiting for his last match into top 8. Everybody pump him up and help out your NEW NUMBER ONE KITANA OF THE WORLD!
