I can understand with some of the folks who say Superman shouldn't have low health because he's Superman, but your way of doing things is through strict game play. Perhaps add a mode that goes into tournament mode and readjusts character health for balance purposes? That way everyone else who bought the game for comic purposes can enjoy their Superman with high health. It's unfortunate but I assume Killer Frost would be one of the characters to have low health? Ok. I'm not one who feels REO needs to be defended because his accomplishments speak volumes, but wasn't REO a consistent top 3 placer before he picked up Kabal? I don't agree with PL saying REO was just all Kabal. Correct me if I'm wrong.

To boot. I found it humorous that the generally conscious is REO didn't outplay PL in the top 8 now due to PL being mentality exhausted or sick prior to the match :p REO had to climb the biggest ladder from losers but you didn't see him throwing a fuss.

Oh! My question on blast! Hearing it read wasn't exactly how I guess I meant it, it was more a reference to MK players getting frustrated with the game more easily than the Capcom guys (it would seem that way anyway), and perhaps not taking advantage of cross-ups, pushblock, etc.

To clear things up. Reo is godlike all I was saying was without Kabal a lot of wins wouldn't be as dominating because Kabal dominates the cast moreso than Kenshi does.

I hate that I can pick up Kabal and body someone without pretty much any thought. I play PPJ in really good match set KL vs his Sektor but then pick Kabal and I don't even have to think. REO tried to tell all of you how dumb Kabal was but everyone looked at what he said as trolling.

You guys complain about Scorpion in INJ but Kabal is much worst in MK. KABAL is the char where you have to play his game. How would you feel if you had to play me, curbo, detroit, reo, cat, back to back in tournament? You would hate it. That is my point. I feel like if Kabal weren't in the game, nerfed or banned the game would be a whole lot better and I think it would breathe new life into the game. Think about it from a Cage or even Baraka player perspective. You can go to a tournament outplay a Kabal player and still lose cause that is just how messed up the character was.

Let me say this before I continue: REO is godlike as a player and is more than capable of picking up another character and winning with them as he has demonstrated before. All I was saying is he wasn't "dominating" until he picked up Kabal but he was already super top. DJT I feel like can't play perfect like that all the time he is human. If thats the case he would've won SCR as well.

I just think without Kabal this game is more fun and enjoyable and opens up a lot of the cast to where everyone is viable. Think about the top tier without Kabal. Kenshi, Cyrax, Sonya, Kung Lao for example all have match ups where they have to work or lose. None of them have dominating 6-4, 7-3's where they are just unwinnable. Kabal on the other hand is just like whatever he mops up everyone he has match ups he doesn't even have to learn is what I am saying.

REO has shown he can win with mileena, reptile, kung lao, kenshi etc. So don't say I am saying he is ass.

In two parts he pretty unquestionably blew me up.

First right after Bit said "oh he won with GL not Black Adam" Pig said "Well it's clear that Chris G is free in the GL matchup, so hopefully he learns it."

Also when they were talking about how some characters are too braindead he brought up that I "could beat Chris G with GL even though Chris G is a better player."

One hundred percent, there is no reason to go in, and if they are jumpy with the bullet and shit, arrow just needs to NJ~ ice arrow and that shit stops pretty quick, I feel you need to be making GL come to you,

I agree with this completely. And if he gets a good knockdown within range he can start his offense, but I think fire arrows really are the answer to this matchup.

We saw Chris G use fire arrow zoning a bit during Evo Top 8 and it worked GREAT on DJT, then he stopped for some reason? He should have kept trying it until it stopped working.

Just posting as I listen,

I don't think changing health bar values in this game fixes anything, especially at this point in the game, maybe in 2 years when match ups and characters have been fleshed out you could make that arguement, but this is a fighting game, and things will change.

The biggest thing they could do right now to make this game better in my eyes,

Is up walk speeds, and balance the risk reward factor of each character.

There is too much safe shit.

like, think about street fighter, you can't just be throwing out Dragon punches all day, because you get your ass blown up for it on block or wiff, but the move is a sick AA, sick wake up, and with skill can be FADC using 2 bars of meter into pressure or to extend combos into big damage.

I feel like Bounce cancels in combos were an after thought because they seem to scale and not be worth the 2 bars, they are a great way to end a match with unclashable bounce cancel B3 into B3, but I feel like the mechanic is an unfinished after though, unless something else is found.

bounce cancel can also stuff a pushblock if you read it.

Heres another thought I had Pig about your Idea and the only way I think it would work.

If the game had a handicap system like SF4,

you would be able to set it as the game grew for each match if there was anyway possible for the community to actually agree on match ups.

The big problem with this to me would be, what happens when at a tournament, a superman player is playing at this life disatvantage vs say I don't know a Joker,

And this joker has new superman tech and blows him up and changes the way that match up is played. How fair is that to the Superman player and his tournament?

I don't know, I just think when the skill level rises in this game, and the game knowledge goes up the game will change.

Edit: Walk speed buff is needed 100%, it would change this game for the better. Green Arrow should not be walking around like the hunchback of notredamn lol.
