This web site has been unbearable recently.general m2dave deathstroke is broken
No, he isn't. Deathstroke is one of the most balanced characters in the game. He has to be when NRS "normalized" his best move by 10+ frames.Deathstroke isn't op, he's just bullshit in the matchups he wins.
Is it just me, or is everyone else sick of unfair/cheap/OP characters in games?
Why on Earth would NRS make characters like Deathstroke, Scorpion, and Superman, and NOT think that they are unfair and ruin the game. Aren't the developers of these games supposed to be first and foremost fans and gamers themselves?
It baffles me that this game, and games in general, can have such unbalance to them. These people are being paid good money to make games that fans can appreciate and enjoy playing, yet there are such obvious inbalances that could easily be fixed, yet they go unnoticed by the devlopers.
Developers are nothing but egotistical assholes who could give two shits about the well being of the game they are creating.

He's balanced but when against someone who has no way to get in, he becomes bullshit or "antifun" for the them. No, he isn't. Deathstroke is one of the most balanced characters in the game. He has to be when NRS "normalized" his best move by 10+ frames.
What need is there to prove the op wrong? He could prove himself wrong just by looking through a character forum and learning the matchup. Also a tip to the rest of you, if you guys can't prove the op wrong and all you can say is "he's not op omagawd, noooob", then maybe the op is right and you're incorrect? Afterall, you couldn't prove him wrong.
I understand but it isn't neccesary. A simple, deathstroke is not op +explanation would have answered his post and kept him shut instantly lol. Also, it's just pure logic, if you can't prove the op wrong then he will continue to think he right in his own head. What need is there to prove the op wrong? These people get laughed at because they do not make an effort to learn, and think that QQing to the rest of us is a productive form of action. When I see threads in which people explain that they have a problem with a certain tactic and ask for help, the responses are much more constructive.
Basically they get what they give.
Every character can get in. It just depends what the character can do once he/she does. He's balanced but when against someone who has no way to get in, he becomes bullshit or "antifun" for the them.
Well, I'll use Grundy as an example since it's obviously who I play. When you walking corpse with him, the bullets actually slow down the whole game, it starts to look like flash's trait. When the animations of the shots end, Grundy is still stuck in the slowed down animation because the bullets are still traveling to hit him while Deathstroke can move freely.Every character can get in. It just depends what the character can do once he/she does.
This is true, but I don't have a section of text to copy/paste about why deathstroke isn't that bad. I'll definitely not make the effort to write a conclusive post for someone who is arrogantly flaunting their ignorance toward the game.I understand but it isn't neccesary. First of all, rifle does not beat walking corpse. The rifle's full hits only come out on a successful hit. But who the hell uses rifle anyway? The start up and recovery frames are very long.Well, I'll use Grundy as an example since it's obviously who I play. Now say I walking corpse cancle. If they keep using the normal rifle, I will get hit every time I cancle. The only way to get in during this matchup is to get a lucky timed mb swamp hands (against low gunshots since it's the only animation that ends fast enough to mb through).
Alright, thanks for the tips. I'll try them out later.First of all, rifle does not beat walking corpse. The rifle's full hits only come out on a successful hit. But who the hell uses rifle anyway? The start up and recovery frames are very long.
Second of all, you can get in the traditional way. Block low and forward dash.
It takes one full reset and shield activation for Grundy to win this match. Because Deathstroke will do no chip damage, he will have to take the fight to Grundy.
Master D.'s Grundy was almost going even with my pre-patch Deathstroke.
I kinda want to address this, pretty sure for older gamers people either quit or kept playing and learned. No personal drive other than that.Maybe the developers just overestimated peoples' desire to learn.
Beating Deathstroke's guns was a problem that was already solved and covered BEFORE the patch. Now it's even easier.
^ this, FG's are about exploiting your opponents weakness. If you cant get around something why would they stop doing it?Usually people who make posts like these are simply not that good at the game. People who "spam" are the easiest to beat you already know what they are going to do. Go to practice mode and get better.
all someone playing Deathstroke has to do is spam
spam
lmfao you should totally do this to tom at a tournament#best-idea-ever-just-came
if only i had it before evo
U know DaveNo, he isn't. Deathstroke is one of the most balanced characters in the game. He has to be when NRS "normalized" his best move by 10+ frames.
