Agreed. And HT still has a higher execution barrier than other characters along with minimum damage without charges. Really hoping for the SLIGHT universal changes suggested in this thread to be considered. Won't mention any names, but... I know of a few of the highest level players in MK who like and use Jacqui, but not in tournament. This is a decision that's been made because they are thoroughly familiar with how some of her weak points make most match ups in their opponents favor. People are complaining saying I want an OP character. Thing is, these changes wouldn't even make High Tech top tier, they'd just allow her to actually compete.
Oops... wrong thread.That was always one of my worst MUs before I dropped Jacqui. He just blows her up at every range. Even after the buffs, she's still pretty unusable. I went back to her last night after having played nothing but Jax for quite a while, and it was like going from Sonya to Kano in MK9. Her limbs are just too short and her pokes are just too awful. If she had a decent d4 then she could at least keep people in check, but as it stands she's a garbage character in a game full of godly characters.

Yeah I think she's fine, she just needs more work put in. I think she has more potential than to be just labeled low tier. That's what makes her more interesting. I respectfully disagree. There is no work you can put in to account for all her downsides, especially in her bad variations. You can't put in work to account for her bad wakeups, bad punishment and bad anti-airs.Yeah I think she's fine, she just needs more work put in. Your changes would still not solve how she struggles greatly with pressure and struggles at all distances in high tech. Her main footsie tools (b14 and f12) are slower and have worse range than many other character's footsie tools. She lacks the pokes to help her in the neutral, her gauntlet charge would still be hella slow, QUICK burst would still be slow... like seriously, she needs much more than you're proposing.I think you want a bit too much. All she needs is a 9frame d2 the hit vox has been improved already I think.
An armored df2 or safe bf 2 . f121 on hit would be cool too. But that's it really . I could really make her work with that I think .
A bf1 that hits mid or is safer would be great too make her have to charge to gauntlets for it go to make it not as op

This is good tho, i agree with this and lots of other thingsA projectile might help. Maybe one she can shoot slowly in the air and quickly on the ground.
