After doing that 14 xx DF2 ender last night I felt like exploring 14 as a combo extender a little more tonight. I definitely was not thinking about it enough.

Here's a newer 46% 1 bar corner combo for Warlock for you low execution fans like me, this one coming off B324:

B324, 4, 14 xx DB1 MB, NJ2, 14 xx BF3, JB2, F212 xx DF2.

I'm also poking around in the silly corner starter of B324, B324, 14 xx DB1 MB but I think it's too much scaling to go anywhere useful. Fun as heck to kick the shit out of people though.

Edit - Also here's an even easier 46% 1 bar corner combo off B2 xx DB1 MB:

B2 xx DB1 MB, 4, 4 xx BF3, JB2, F2122, 14 xx DF2

Above also works with B12 starter for 1% more damage.

Edit 2 - The same logic of just dumping the NJP altogether seems to result in slightly better damage on the previous F2122 combo, so you can get 49% off 1 bar in corner w/:

F2122, 4, 4 xx DB1 MB, 4, 14 xx BF3, JB2, F212 xx DF2 (50% if starting with JF2)

Great work Wallach. Here's a wacky 53% style combo.

Jp1, f2122, 4, 4 mb rune, 4, 12trance, jb2, 121+3jb2, b2exrune, portal grab

Easier execution changing the 4, 14trance for njp, 14trance doing 51%

Dude very nice! What do you use mid screen for f2122 and b324 mid screen for warlock?

I am yet to touch the game but if I understand it right, you build meter from ex runes on block as well, unlike mk9 where it is an unblockable,so meterbuilding is ridiculous . Plus it is all pure chip damage, so if they don't have the breaker when the rune trap starts- they won't be building it with the damage they receive from chip. They have to open themselves up in order to even get the breaker)
yes you build meter. the chip damage is only great in sorcerer variation. theres no other use for it in the pther variations because its a waste of meter

Right now since I'm pretty much only looking at Warlock, I'm poking around with midscreen stuff to see what carries the farthest. I feel like the corner pressure is a bit more important there than with Summoner. One other thing I'd like to do this week is explore NJP starters a little more thoroughly, and maybe a couple other starters like 12 xx for particular punishes. Unfortunately getting bodied by work hours lately (hence the bout of 3-6 AM posting) so it'll be later this week before I do much else.

I´m enjoying Warlock too. But my favorite is sorcerer. You talk about corner pressure. Using 141 into an armor spell, into pressure or a wakeup/jump bait is too good.

There´s a pretty reliable formula for any grounded trance starter like 12 trance. You can see it here http://testyourmight.com/posts/1667623/

12 EX Rune, Trance, Jp1, F2122, Run, ender of your choice
(i dont remember if hitting B2 before the trance fucks up the ability to follow up after F2122 but i think it does.)

That´s not really true. EX Rune combined with normals still does great chip. You can close out a match with D3 EX Rune, into 14 EX Rune for a solid 10-13% chip i believe.

oh yea thats true. i meant its true potential excels in sorcerer. 47% chip with final hex up is huge.
 
What summoner bnbs are you guys finding the most reliable and what resets/mixups for summoner? Atm i got b234 4 mb-trance batsummon f2122 fbat dash 141 as my most baisic bnb and in the corner i have fj2 b234 fbat nj2 4 4 mb-rune b1 trance batsummon f2122 fbat d2 for 52% what are you summoners doing?

Just started playing Quan Chi today got this combo down looking for any advice to make it viable in actual kombat 36% no meter works for all variations

Thanks for this, that 49% is sick; great damage for one bar.

Since the DF2 puts them back into the corner right in front of you, what do you usually like to go for after to mix up the opponent?

On the fence between maining warlock seems more fun but I hear summoner is more viable any advice?
Summoner definitely has more options. The low bat + B2 into a setup is insane. And from full screen Quan Summoner might be the best zoning character in the game.

This thread is such a mess lol. Is there any way we can edit the OP or can only a mod do that? If not then is anyone against me making a new one that way all the combos posted here will just be on the OP instead of scattered throughout the thread.
Anyway I'm looking for more optimal damage midscreen with Summoner. Right now I'm doing B2 EX Rune B2 Trance Summon Bat F2122 Bat Far Rune
