No active frames for reflect/absorb yet, I wanted to post the thread now and I don't want to figure that out at the moment.
Thanks so much man...I'm back from Spain sat night so I'll do what ever dissecting I can that night...lol I'll be studying up though regardless.
Wow Nightwolf's D3 is amazing. +10 on a crouching character. I'm going to work on some of his strings and see what I can find. Maybe there's a use for 11 alone since it is +21 on hit as opposed to finishing the string with a 2 which only gives +6 frame advantage on hit.
Bring us Nightwolf newbie's some information master! Also I wanted to know whether it was a useful tactic to follow up a 114 on block with F3. You do not need to dash in and doesn't F3 have priority over other pokes plus more range? The 114 gives ideal pushback for a F3 followup. I think maybe 23 on block does as well I'm not sure....
Yes absolutely. It works very well. You do not need to dash and if they try to down poke the f3 hits over it a bunch also despite how fast the poke is. 23, 114, are strings I have been using more because people just aren't used to them. If 114 works it can also get you an eh lightning trap.
GAME CHANGING NEW TECH! Lol but on a serious note thanks for clearing that up. I haven't seen anyone use it tbh.
If f3 and f3 1 are negative on block why did I have such trouble punishing them with elbow dash? Do I just suck?
F3 is 11 frame start up so -4 plus 11 gives you a 15 frame window... 15-6 leaves 9 frames to initiate dash. But you still have to guess right between f3 and f31 and f312. Any hesitation can make it impossible to punish. I still have mad repect for your reptile despite my win. If I have to fight you again in tournament I know it's not a free win. I was scared when we had to fight for sure.
yeah they were good games haha our fight made me realize that I have some things I need to change about the way I play my character. I've already patched up a lot of the mistakes I made.
Copy paste: It is the advantage you get when cancelling out of a normal into a special or another normal. The advantage is the first frame of your special/normal to the frame where your opponent recovers. If it is a knockdown, it is until the wakeup invincibility starts (or after the knockdown invincibility ends).
