MK9 has rejuvenated itself with the Toasty boost discoveries

I think it did, if this keep going the game may change entirely and maybe we will get more entries to ensure another year at EVO.

Ill be dropping mk9 after MLG Dallas. Toasty boost is not that hype to keep me interested.

It definately breathes new life but after dallas i dont think i will be traveling anymore 4 this game unless it shows up 4 evo..

It has definitely gotten people talking and motivated to find new stuff, but I doubt it's going to have that big of an effect in terms of the game being picked up by Evo next year.

If it happened more often it would be more hype. It's just too random. But whenever it happens for the first time, it will be hype.

As a combo player, it gives me reason to play the game more, but without a modded PS3 there's no sense in doing it.

All i wanna do is Kenshi's Toasty Combo, and ill be happy. At least his i can land every 5-10 minutes consistently and i know when his will come out.. Just depends on the stage (really, it does). It's all about where Dan Forden is hiding.

Toasty boost will bring us back together.

MK9 is the only fighter I've ever been decent at. I don't plan to drop it anytime soon, at least until MK10 is out.

This game never went stale in the first place.

Only this community could be days away from a 90 man tournament and still talking doom and gloom.

This game isn't tapped out. I make adjustments and breakthroughs with how I play all the time. People need to stop pretending that them being burnt out or at a stagnant level of play means the game is dead.

Toasty Boost will replace the Clash System in Injustice.

This is ludicrious to believe that such a small input is going to bring back interest in a game that has lost 3/4's of its community within a year ( due to half assed patches and giving people unnecessary buffs *Kenshi's shoulder ram... like it needed more frames and more armor?*). This is not enough to keep someone interested in travelling across the world, to compete in tournaments or even for longivity reasons. And it's ashame too because the Street Fighter community has ben playing the same SF game for over 12+ years now and still are finding tech from left to right; hell they still play the SSF4:AE like its nothing.

There isn't anything within MK9 now that people think is watchable anymore. It's still good to play with friends, but the replay value has been decreased.

I love how you felt credible enough to speak for "people" and whether they think this game is watchable or not.

Well i'm not trying to speak generallistically for others but with the recent fighting games expansion and the hype for those tournament placings, do you really think MK9 stands a chance against them? People have seen all the Kabal's, Kenshi's, Freddy's matchups and they are now boring to sit through and watch them now.

This is the only fighting game that I can bear to play and watch. Hell we just did 6 hours of casuals last night and it felt like an hour. If it were TTT2 I'd be checking my watch every 15 mins.

The people who love this game aren't going anywhere, the people who never got their ego boosted by winning a major will go off to browner pastures. I'm sure Digi will welcome you all with open arms.

It's the truth bruh. I play the shit out of this game because quite frankly, it's the most entertaining fighter out there. If I get hit by a 100% Cyrax reset, the only recourse is to smile. It's also filled with the best people. Hence why, I don't want to piss on anyone parades if they like other fighters. Different strokes for different folks heh.

Half the people who shit on this game never leave their living room. Yea, I'd be pissy too if my MK experience consisted of trying to win a KOTH and getting bodied by MKF30 betwixt his cyber pimping sessions.

It's a little disheartening to see this game get shat on time and time again by people who go to a fan site on a daily basis. Props to all who love and defend it.
