You don't even need armor to punish, u can punish that on reaction with Liu kang's F4 whose start up is 10 ,, frames, so any thing faster works
Armour is the go to punish because it's the safest. If you mistime a punish you'll get hit by a Sunstone or swords.

only thing that needed changing was 114 whiffing and the f/t air grab and sun choke whiff issues, neither been solved?

Just throw it out, and hope for the best!
On block the opponent can jump out of the command grab after b1,4. But you can play mind games and do DF1 or EX Pizza and catch them in the air. Using armor is the best option out unless you guess right :DOGE

Honestly the changes overall hurt Sun God. B1 leading it to potentially greater damage always made the thread of b1 tick throw scary. Now they don't have to deal with that pressure. B14 command grab can be armoured out of or jumped.

Overall not good changes for Kotal. Was a shame that it seems Blood and War God are left relatively untouched too. Was hoping Blood would get an Armour move of some sort.

Great to see all this kotal players who have never been to a tourney complain about b1 not ticking lmao. If your opponent isnt just eating back 1s and hitting you for 50% when you whiff they dont know the MU.
Lol and that's why you don't just cancel b1 into command grab every single time. You do realize you can just complete the string b122 into grab right? Go right ahead and stop blocking every time I do b1 and eat more damage.

Normalize grab immunity.
So has anyone tested every grab cancel? Cause right now it's looking like his only reliable ticks are off of pokes and weird timing off of jump ins.
