Alternate controls bug?

Hi. So, I was just speaking with a fellow player who told me that with this new patch NRS actually fucked the alternative controls big time, to the point of being unplayable. Anyone else experienced this?

the problem is that the special moves don't come out, it's not about pushblock i believe.
