Of all the "iconic" returning characters we could see return...factoring in this collective info about Smoke, what we know of Noob Saibot's "demise" and MK9 ending, Sub-Zero being confirmed as Kuai Liang, and the comic book appearance of Havik and the Seido Kamidogu/the near certainty that Chaosrealm and Orderrealm are both going to play a pivotal role in the MKX story...it would stun me if neither of them eventually made the DLC cut, and it honestly wouldn't surprise me at all if they kill two birds with one stone and they bring back Noob/Smoke as a tag team again. They were hugely popular and OP as fuck in Deception, they're both huge draws by themselves let alone linked together again, and technically story-wise they're in the exact same position they were in in the old story this point along with the rest of the Lin Kuei: Kuai Liang in charge of the Lin Kuei, Sektor's dead, Cyrax is nowhere to be found, Noob presumably is stuck in Chaosrealm, and Smoke is wandering all creation lost and confused as fuck. Let Noob find Smoke and make him his sidekick, have Cyrax link up with the Special Forces after they dig him out of the desert, and have Sektor be miraculously revived/repaired by maybe the Red or Black Dragon only to go all Tyrant Sektor Fire on them and give rise to the Tekunin Army. Bam. That's a 3 character DLC set, complete with countless fans popping cybernetic boners (myself included), a super sexy chunk of story, and the return of the most fucked up MK tag team of all time.
