We are returned! Death to the False Emperor!
Smoke and Baraka will likely be fightable NPCs in story and then DLC. I imagine the same will happen with a few others, Fujin in particular

Not in the Kombat Pack no, but eventually yeah. I think we'll get 6-8 DLC. I can't see us getting less than IGAU, considering WB is throwing everything into MKX and all the DLC in NRS games have sold like hell. It makes a lot more sense to give us classic fighters who'll sell well instead of new characters as DLC.

In fact, initially I thought that Sonya Jax Kitana and Kung Lao would all fulfill the role of story opponent NPCs later made DLC cos they'd sell amazingly well.

So yeah, I think we'll see at least 6 DLC, 2 guests and 4 classics. For my money, the classics will be Baraka Smoke Fujin and TBA (probably Rain but possibly Havik or Reiko. If we get more than that, I think we'll get a third guest.

I hope my countryman Tomáš Vrbada (Smoke) will be in final roster.. or atleast in The Kombat Pack as classic character! Damn.. Noob Saibot as second classic character could be epic too!

Oh my god. I mained Cage, Sektor, Baraka and Smoke in MK9.

Cage gets confirmed last week, then Baraka's in that achievement picture, NOW THIS. Please, Lord Boon, unlessh the might of Sektor upon us, and let this Enenra Smoke be playable!

it would be a huge disapointment if those 2 where not in the game , honestly speaking here NRS havent revealed any of the most go to characters from MK9 it seems that fan favorites are no where to be found, Smoke, Noob Saibot, Cyrax. Not only that Noob and Smoke where by far the coolest revamps they did for Mk 9.

as for Noob Smoke combo i mentioned this in another thread, so for those that dont know they where introduced in deception, what im going to write next has SPOILERS so dont continue if you dont want to know what is happening in the comic or some story on Smoke/Noob Combo

Spoiler: Noob Saibot was Fighter under the control and order of not only Quan Chi but Shinnok, in the old timeline Noob/Smoke was introduced after Shinnok was imprisioned in the Amulet ( Same event seems to happen in this timeline as shown in trailers and the comic ) Noob Saibot after "losing" both his masters decided to presue his own agenda, becoming ruler of outworld, this desire is also shown in his MK9 ending, he decides to form a league of assassins much like the Lin Kuei but loyal only to him and no one else. After Searching an old Fortress of Shao Khan he found Cyborg Smoke just laying there inoperative, its known that CySmoke had been there since before the invasion on earthrealm by Shinnok, This same invasion already happened in the MKX timeline so its possible that right after MK9 Smoke was put under the Cyborg initiative. Now some of you will say that after 9 there where no more Cyborgs and the program was stoped, well thats incorrect as seen in the latest Comic the Lin Kuei are not only quite alive but all their fighters underwent the cyborg process as you see them chasing Sub Zero to recover the lost dagger.

Now how does this relate to NoobSmoke for MKX, we know Smoke Dies back in 9, but no one ever said that you need a living person to create a cyborg, and in deception when Noob finds him, it said that he didnt take long to reactivate the nanotechnology in cyborg Smokes body which reshaped and repaired his body. So NoobSmoke is possible for this new timeline as the only thing we know so far is that Noob was Cleansed from Bi Han, this doesnt confirm his death, it just confirms that Noob is no longer part of Bi han.

this is not me saying just cause im a Noob Main and i want the character to be in the game this is me being objective and i think the character of Noob/Smoke has a lot of promise and a lot of cool things could be done with their design plus they are BADASS

Because it doesn't adhere to the story. If they have no reason to be in the story they don't make the roster. ALSO you do need a living person to make a Cyborg, it's the definition of one.
