I don't like getting into Anime fanfic/theory, but basically the most logical explanation is Broly was almost murdered as a child and so he associates Goku with the trauma of almost being killed and left for dead.

If Broly were to come back I would hope it was a reboot where he's still charismatically insane but with a better plot.

He's like Hulk except with no charisma, interesting motivations, or anything interesting other than Blah I'm strong. If they had played more with things like him kinda finding some peace for a bit like he did int he beginning of the 2nd movie MAAAAYBE he would be interesting.

Man, my favourite anime villain just got fucked in the ass. That design is so bad. The colours don't even go with each other.

I mean, I kinda get what they were going for, purple and gold symbolise royalty, which is partly why Rain looks like he does too. But if you had to do something like this, you could've made the body purple and the other parts gold instead and it would've looked better.

I've had issues with DBZ regarding everything after the Frieza saga, but it's never been quite this bad. I don't even know what's going on anymore.

I love DBZ, bit can we just put it to rest? Or at least try and do something better than what's been given to us. God Goku was a huge disappointment to me. I kind of understand why he was done that way. I'm open to new forms other than SSJ4 and the look.

I don't know if any of you guys know, but this guy right here has some amazing ideas and his work is beautiful. Tori should hire him and things will be all better for DBZ. It's called DBZ: Absalon

To add insult to injury to the people who hated the god form, Toriyama has pretty much said that SSJ2 and SSJ3 will likely never appear again in a movie or series because Goku absorbed the god form's power. In fact, Goku may not go SSJ in this movie either.

DBZ without SSJs is what this is coming down to, which is funny given how fan series emphasize so much on new SSJ forms. lol

Additionally, there's logically nothing that prevents the other saiyans, especially Vegeta, from attaining God form. They all just join hands when they're at full strength and give it to a different fighter until they're all Gods. I mean, they're all pure hearted at this point. It takes the suspense and intrigue away if only one saiyan is always going to be strongest, no matter what. ''Ah well, Goku will save the day.'' Eh whatever.

Goku getting powers that he couldn't attain by himself makes the show akward.

Man, this new Frieza form looks awesome.

I kind of wondered about what Frieza would do had he lived and reached another transformation state. We saw Cooler's and that in and of itself looked pretty great.

I think what I liked most about Frieza was just how much of a bastard he was. Sure, all of the DBZ villains killed planets. However, Frieza enslaved Vegeta's entire race, commanded them to kill and pillage the universe, and then killed King Vegeta anyway. Just because. I like that.

I guess, for me, Frieza and Goku, or Frieza and Vegeta, have more of a story behind their rivalry/dislike as opposed to some of the other villains. Even Cell, whose origin was specifically linked to killing Goku because of the destruction of the Red Ribbon Army in Dragonball, never felt as personal as Frieza. But that's purely subjective and personal preference on my part.
