The character select screen in a placeholder, all those icons were revealed by boon to be nothing, he was just messing with people.

How? That actually makes no sense.

Thats like saying Kitana is a cheap copy of Jade, or Jade is a cheap copy of Mileena.

Besides having Edenian lineage they have very different and unique stories.

Here's a summary from the wiki for you:
  • Jade, Kitana's bodyguard and childhood friend. Though originally loyal to Shao Kahn, Jade has proven her loyalty to the royal family time and again.
  • Tanya, who comes from a family of diplomats and ambassadors and used her persuasive powers more than once to betray Edenia to the forces of darkness. She is highly intelligent and skilled in black magic.
They don't even look the same.

I think one of those boots belong to Ermac. Guessing the last one honestly. Possibly the first but not really his style to sport skulls on his knees. Maybe Havik?

I don't know I just don't get why people want her that bad :p I was using her boomerang in mk4 and I just felt at the moment that she looks and plays like Jade :p sorry if I offended any fans not that anyone actually cares it's just an opinion :p

I know right? Kotal Khan, D'Vorah, and Ferra/Torr are bad ass and varied new additions and I cannot wait to see more new characterrs. But on the other hand, I REALLY want to see Reptile in this game and see how devolved and bad ass-looking he's become.

I never really liked Tanya that much but I feel like they could make her really interesting, so I wouldn't mind her inclusion. Maybe with a magic variation. Plus now Mileena's plain stupid the game needs a smart female villain.

Didn't saw anyone mention the first one being Baraka.. as you can see a skull on his legg..Baraka would be awesome!

edit: seems like the first boot is the most give away because a skull on the legg is one of Barakas trademarks as the second picture gives away the trenchcoat being either Kabal or Mavado..so yeh after those 2 you can only guess..does this mean Baraka confirmed ?
