Kenshi maybe but the others might be a bigger stretch than you think.

Remember when someone asked him if Drahmin was in? He straight up answered "i don't think he has any chance of being in".

I don't think the characters after MK4 stand much of a chance honestly. They're the only characters Ed is straight up saying "no" to.

It's not necessarily a matter of "not liking change." These are characters that people have invested hundreds, and in some cases thousands of hours in. And even years and decades across games for others. It's understandable that they would be a little attached to them.

Huh? Boon was involved in MK4 through MKA. I'd say that supports failing to deliver. I think if I did the math on total number of MK characters compared to the good ones, we'd have less than half the cast that should stick around.

I hope you're right but the odds are not in our favor I think.

But we're not getting that. And some might even mention dlc as a chance to see old favorites return. Yeah... but then again, one dlc character is a guest character. So there's already one less spot in that too.

That must be because, "american" isn't a language in any part of the world.

OK, so on to the lesson. The sentence is as follows:

How dare they replace your model-T with a ford mustang! Fools!

I am going to assume you know close to nothing about life, history, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (I already know you lack language skills). So the model-T is an historic vehicle developed by the Henry Ford Motor Co. (now known as simply "ford"). Now this vehicle was a marvel of technology and innovation for it's time but, like all things, served a limited function for a limited time. Disregarding all of the interposer models that serve to bridge the gap between the model-T, and the context-dependant example of the Ford Mustang, we can safely assume there is a drastic change in both human design and engineering. This brings us to our Ford Mustang; this is a nigh inarguably superior piece of technology and innovation relative to the model-T as a function of time. So by my making the statement "How dare they replace your model-T with a ford mustang", I am serving to illustrate that, while the model-T has a special place in history, it was human innovation that lead to a significantly safer and efficient vehicle. The following word/sentence "Fools!" serves to mock the idea that people would cling to things that have had their time in the face of innovation.

Since I know you possess the cognitive ability somewhere in the neighborhood of the common seagull, I will do you an ever better favor; I will simplify this entire post such that your windows 3.11 equivalent mind can handle it (another subtlety I suspect having to explain to you). So, in summary: You are a moron.

Some homework for your personal development:
1. What is the derivative of sin(x), and how does it relate to velocity?
2. Given an elevation of sea level, what would the gravitation constant, g, be, and what would its effect have on downward acceleration of an object of arbitrary mass?
3. Using basic logic gate notation, derive a truth table for the following: Y=\A + B
4. (Bonus Question) Assuming all incident waves are in phase with one another, what would be the result of adding a sine wave of peak amplitude 5, to a sine wave of peak amplitude 7?

No MK game has sucked. The fact is that every MK game is different. Some are 2d some are 3d. Some are adventure games some are fighting games. Just because a game is not tournament viable does not make it suck.

It doesnt matter what you want, Ed said the cast will be mostly new, what you want is irrelevant.

And instead of worrying about the old kast, you should look at the new one with an open mind. Remember your favorite old school characters were also new at some point :)

Cute?! Why thank you kind sir! I did just begin this workout regiment, i'm glad its paying dividends very early on!

Lets see. . . I'm an average American? Whoa! I never knew that? Whats strange is that my profession is only occupied by about 4% of Americans. By defenition, I CAN'T be an average American. All that aside, I have a waterfront condo and a new boat (its really cool, I am still a boating scrub, but im learning the bay matchup). As cute as you may think I am, its unlikely that anything I have was earned by a lack of intelligence. The worst part is the taxes. . . oh god the taxes. . . But I digress.

OK, so I thought that my automobile illustration was simple enough, but it would appear to have fallen on deaf, possibly stupid, ears. I cant really think of another way to tell you that "new" stuff only remains "new" for a finite perioud of time before it becomes "old". So these "old" characters you so lovingly refer to shared the same admonishment and rejection during their "new" phase.

Take a movie for example. Lets say that I am a director who wishes to remake say. . . The Wizard of Oz. Given your expectations of a "new" game, its safe to say that I should be just rehashing the original Wizard of Oz movie. But why would I do that? That requires little to no imagination on my behalf. So instead I will try and remain true to the theme, content, and general feel of the original, but give it an updated face. Your expectation would have me simply transpose an old classic, filmed with dated technology, to a new and shiny screen. Do you see the fallacy in this?

Hopefully that helped you understand the desire for a new cast.

Glad you mentioned the wizard of oz. What you're asking of me (and others) is that we get the wizard of us without Dorothy, the lion, the scarecrow and the tin man.
And we should be happy about it.

You throw insults from left and right to mascarade your lack of intelligence, because quite frankly you just can't do better. It's not your fault. You were born that way.
But again, you throw insults because your tiny ostrich brain can't comprehend that some of us, do want an update Lion, Scarecrow, Dorothy and Tin Man instead of Ruth, Sheep, Foil Woman and Doll.

Are you able to comprehend what I'm saying? About me (and possibly others) wanting to see most of the old cast (if not all) with updated designs, story and movesets?
Much like MKX's Scorpion and SubZero? Especially now where all characters have 3 variations. I would certainly like to see Rain with a style where he uses high pressured water swords. Kung Lao with a style where he uses his hat as a weapon in combos and so on. What's wrong with seeing old characters which I like, with a fresh coat of paint?

The moment you mocked me (and others) based on our choices being different from yours (thus proving your stupidity) was the moment anything you said would indeed fall on deaf ears. It's worthless to me.

So no, I don't want MK9 with next gen graphics. I want MK9's cast with next gen graphics, updated designs, updated movesets, strings animations, fatalities and stories.
That's what I want.
