Yo so will RMS go under projectiles while you're actually running? Or by ducking do they mean during the neutral stance, high and mid attacks will whiff? Since Neutral RMS already goes under projectiles until you start moving, I'm hoping the move is actually viable for getting in on zoners now.

Forward dash was already pretty good, This buff will make him a lot harder to keep off you hopefully.
It means it will go under high attacks, physical ones and projectiles included.

on a read you will be able to RMS a moderately slow high projectile (e.g raven), dash up, cancel RMS and full combo punish

Still pessimistic. How often are you ever going to land 2 parries in 9 seconds? It's also a 2 frame start up still instead of 1 so I don't know. I'm honestly way more excited about the prospect of a d2 that's faster. Way more of a buff on Joker than it is on others.

This is the truth. We should be rejoicing. If we get a viable anti-air...holy shit man. It changes everything. No more J2 Batman or he will be eating damage into staff combo for some severe lock down. If you haven't noticed Nightwings D2 has some nice range, it just had NO priority.

Scorpion

Shroud of Flames (Character Power)no longer starts it’s cooldown if it gets interrupted before it is activated.
Flip Kick (Down + Forward + 2) is now -10 on block (up from -1).
Teleport Punch (Down + Back + 3) now has more recovery time when blocked.
Slightly adjusted the Teleport Punch (Down+Back+3) speed
The Teleport Punch is now a High attack and has slightly more recovery when it misses.
Increased Welcome to the Netherrealm (Supermove) damage to 37 (from33.75)
Slightly adjusted his Jumping Light and Jumping Hard hit-boxes.
The Teleport Punch (Down + Back + 3) on block is now -8 and slightly pushes back farther.
Not sure. Its now way more punishable on block, but he may still have the mixup game solidly. We'll see, but its definitely something that MB has been made more manageable. You still got to watch out for hellfire's though. Its all really gonna come down to how scoutable its been made with the teleport punch's speed being changed.
 
Scorpion's MB Teleport being -8 on block with slightly increased pushback will still be relatively safe.

I don't know if these changes solve the Scorpion issue. I think that if teleport is to be kept in the game as a reverse-hitting attack, it needs to be extremely punishable when avoided, on block AND on whiff, for the regular AND MB versions.

Aside from that, the rest of the changes look promising. Universally better D2 will be a very big deal, and change the meta-game for the better IMO. It's also nice to see the changes to Metropolis rooftop.

Might give Joker a run knowing this. Always loved the idea of his gameplay.

I'm still skeptical about getting TOO happy with scorpion.

Unless everyone can universally anti air him without much trouble, then its still a problem. -8 with pushback will be pretty much safe as well so... no big changes to MB teleport.

Sucks that adams damage scaling is going up but... piss easy 50% was a bit too piss easy.

4 frames makes it easier to land a parry..
- you get 2 parrys.. you have 17 seconds with the speed boost PLUS! 17 seconds to land another parry and get 27 seconds more of level 3 HA!

think about it..

way bigger rewards

Werent half of his changes already in the game?
Dude was plus on block with that meter burn version before. That being removed plus the speed adjustment on the move will be some of the biggest things to hit the lab with...he may just be someone folks can react to enough now to block without having to nerf the move to death. We wont know if they got the speed adjustment perfect though to make this the case till we get the patch though.

Dude has a lot of weaknesses. He's great once you get him going, but he's only about mid tier at best in good hands. Stuff like the fast stand isn't easy, and other stuff he does like b3 into f3 cancels to get similar is also not exactly low level and free of charge.

Its not all b23 and d1 you win...he's got to stay in and one mixup can force him to not only lose health but to lose precious ground to folks with a lot of tools that mess with him. Guys like Black Adam and Green Lantern are not going to suddenly be free to a D2 buffed Bane because he still has to start offense to use any of it.
