Microsoft Respond To Concerns Over Xbox1

You're an idiot.

No offense.

Seriously though, just by how abysmal its future looks, aren't you worried that they'll shut down the servers, and since you need the servers to play offline games... you will be out of $500 and no games...
It's future doesn't look abysmal. MS is shoring up it's walls al-la Steam, and are looking to grow their own walled garden inside of the gaming ecosystem. To me that is fine because MS won't fail by following this model.

Bottom line is people are up in arms about change; they are blasting back about what could happen, without taking into account what has happened, and then looking at every other service they are invested in as well. What if Netflix fails? What if Itunes fails? What if PSN fails? What if the internet fails and you loose all those things? In all those scenarios you loose something, so why all the skepticism? I've had the same MS hotmail account since '97. I've had the same XBL account since '04. The Xbox One is more about the account then anything else, and they haven't failed me yet on the account side so why doubt them now?

If you play online fighting games, you have a steady net connection so you'll be fine. In fact, you be better off (IMO) with twitch intergration and other things Live ties you into. People are flocking to Sony so things WON'T change in the industry; I'm all for change.

I love how some of you guys speak for the entire world with your generalizations.

The fact is, Microsoft is the best provider of technology in the world. The Xbox One is going to be a great console. The most complaints I hear are about the Xbox One being always online. The way I see it, if you don't have internet you shouldn't be looking to get a next-gen console. In a world that revolves around the internet, I fail to see how that is a bad feature.

Like he said above, change isn't a bad thing. Most people are flocking to Sony because it's 100 bucks less. You get what you pay for.

Microsoft got Sony with the 360. But Sony got Microsoft with the PS4
NO One is going to buy the xbox one
X-Box Don't Buy One! THAT'S THE NAME OF THE GAAAME!
Also Sony got the entire gaming industry with the PS1 and the PS2 hard =) They got overconfident with the release of the PS3 and now Micro$oft is way too, waaay too overconfident with their release of the X-Box Don't Buy One.

It's the same problem Diablo 3 has. Something happens on their end and suddenly you aren't able to play a game you payed for.

ps3 sold more
exclusive was better
xb won with the network only
so it was a win for ps3 aswell
after all ps4 network will be amazing thats what they said
so ps4 is a fully win then

That's just what the Illuminati wants you fool.
Change is inevitable. Downloadable games are the future, and so is the DRM that comes with it. The only restirction on the X1 is internet, and what do you know, my Xbox is conected 24/7.

Who on this site doesn't play online? Or at least doesn't have access to play online? It's all very confusing to me.

Sony has better hardware.
No region locking.
Cheaper games (if you wanna buy used)
Less to worry about since you don't have to worry about your ISP and internet issues.

Imagine this... imagine it. Microsoft gets hacked like sony did. A whole month down. One month without ANY form of gaming. Is that what you think you'd buy?

You don't have rights to the games you bought. You might think you do, but you don't.

Anyway, more to you underlying point, with the X1 you can still buy, sell, and trade/share games.

You don't have rights if you own an xbone.

I like having rights, so I buy PS4.
