I said earlier that Shinnok has taken control of Taven and their relationship sort of mirrors the Onaga/Shukljinko relationship with a Enchantress vibe of possession or deception (Taven not knowing he's serving evil) OR it's Noob Smoke part 2.

I honestly feel exactly the same way. Those characters do nothing for me. I’m sorry, I know those games have their fans, but the 3D era with the exception of a couple characters was just a bad time for Mortal Kombat. I have never heard anyone, other than a very very small subset of fans who probably were born in like 95, want these characters.

Havik could be cool, Fujin is cool, Kenshi is cool, Shinnok and Qu....but these goons Taven, Daegon...who cares. Rambo??? All the guests shoot guns? Tight.

This is wildly disappointing to me.

Can’t believe we have another game without human smoke, and I really think Mileena, Ermac should be in as well.

People should give a chance to characters from the 3D era. Yes, we know those games were mostly terrible. If you wanted a 3D fighting game there were lots of better options.

But those characters could become really good in a 2D enviroment. They have potential to be redesigned and become better. I think every character from the 3D that made it to the new NRS era has been improved on in every way. Even Bo Rai Cho.

I want that to be true because Ashrah and Kai are pretty wild inclusions, and I'm really curious with whatever Netherrealm could do with them.

Edit: forget it I'm crazy those are different leaks lol Yeah, considering the komics story closure is included in the one with Reiko and Sareena, I'll gladly take them over Ashrah and Kai because that story is just insane.

Reiko and Sareena are not mentioned in the story of the Rambo leak, methinks. Only Taven, Daegon, Havik, Shinnok, and Takeda, I think?

The Rambo leak is the one that has Taven/Shinnok, Quan Chi, Takeda, Sareena and Reiko. + Havik and Daegon from KP2 which are pretty much certain in my mind right now lol

I just said that Reiko and Sareena weren't mentioned in the story, which is what matteo was asking.
