Resolution through knowledge and resolve.
Rashid's cr. mp is a solid anti air in the right spacing. The only thing beating it out is air specials like dive kicks and such.
I actually forgot all about Rashid.

I've been maining Chun. Aside from Kikoken being a charge, she feels just like her Third Strike counterpart, and I've been doing pretty decently with her.

That's what I'm talking about. SRK V-trigger cancel SRK CA cancel. Something like that. Spend all the resources to get that last bit of damage and close the round.

Wait, would that be a DP (dragon punch) canceled into CA while on v-trigger? Assuming srk= shoryuken right?

I don't know the exact way to do it. I just thought about it and IIRC, SRK (Shoryuken) cancelled into V-trigger is unsafe. But you can videos of whatever blockstring setup ryu has to setup an unblockable. And yes ILFG, the CA isn't unblockable but it guard breaks. So you don't get damage from the CA really.

How come Rashid players do not utilize his + frames? Every video I see people are doing fmp and cr. HP and odd things. Standing jab, standing strong, standing lk, cr. lp, and cr. mp all leave you at advantage and I'm rarely seeing it.
Because f.MP and cr.HP have good range with little pushback and cr.HP leads to his/a good damage bnb, and since he lacks damage and range in comparison to most of the cast Rashids really want to get that damage in. The normals you mentioned are good when up close but it's getting to that close a range in the first place that's the issue. s.LK and cr.MP are better for anti-airing really too. But it's also early on, people will get more used to their characters normals and they'll figure more stuff out so you might progressively see those used more.

I think its just most of us Rashid players are noobs still lol . i feel all those plus frames are more of a block string aside from st.Hp . I need more practice on safety in this game still in mkx assault mode .

I got the worst beating I've taken yet earlier by a gold Laura . Who was saying she is bad ? 1 touch death from her it felt like . Actually wiped my first bar before i realized what happened and i thought i was in control . Thought i had a good handle on the mu i was way wrong . she has a nasty oki and corner game .
Her oki is okay, only real good thing about her, and her damage. But she gets bullied, she suffers from t rex syndrome...bad. In my experience, a lot of her offense loses to regular grab, her fireball will trade a lot, the hit box is way too tiny out in front of it. I like Laura, but she's close to the bottom, (my early evalution)

I think Ryu can recover fast enough after a guard break to get a small quick combo or a knockdown to close out the round.
More testing with Gief V-Skill I was able to absorb 2 hits standing but 3 hits while moving forward.
