General/Other - Nimble This Is All Your Fault.

Lt. Boxy Angelman

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
@RM Cossner
You, and your terrifying avatar.
And your exotic accent.
And suggestive uses of Krakentile's ass.
And those goddamn Flash combos.

I know you did this. The world will never believe me, but I know the truth.
YOU PUT REPTILE IN MY HEAD.
AND NOW I CAN'T STOP PLAYING HIM.

I was sooooo fucking content breaking my character whore ways and staying loyal to Tremor, just throwing rocks and smashing brains forever...but NOOOOO, you had to go and body me and turn my fucking world upside down, and remind me of all the things that make Reptile superior.
AND NOW HERE I AM.
LIKE A CRACKHEAD WHO NEEDS UNUSUALLY GREEN CRACK.
MY WORLD IS A SWIRLING TORRENT OF BALLS, TOUNGES AND SCRATCHMARKS. I'M LIKE GIANNA MICHAELS ON AN AVERAGE WEDNESDAY.
I WAS SO FUCKING CLOSE, COSSNER.
You can fool the world. You can even fool yourself. But I can see through those sexy scales and that curtain of Zaterran mucus you hide the truth behind.

Whatever happens now, I'm holding you responsible. It's out of my hands...

BLAK FELOW
After the patch reptiles pressure/mixup potencial is endless.. You can do:
21 stagger
B3xoverhead pounce
B3mb invis
B3 stagger
B1d4 ffb
B1 stagger b2
B1d4 overhead pounce
B1d4 mb invis
B2
F412xxoverhead pounce
F41 stagger
F41slide
F412slide
F41mb invis
F412 mb invis

Its ridiculous and im sure im forgetting some

Reptile has a ridiculous amount of tools at his disposal. I like to sit back and throw out a slow slimeball and either slide or pounce. Even if they block it they can't punish because the slimeball will hit them.

Most of the time you'll get counterzoned or they'll come into a range where it is punishable so I wouldnt recommend that.

It's obviously match-up dependent. It wouldn't work well against elite zones, but seems to work well against everyone else. I've had success with it. There isn't a good was to punish it as they get hit by the forceball immediately after. If you time it right you can recover before they do and apply more pressure.

Not true at all. All the mb invis cancels were not availsble and the overhead pounce was unsafe. Aldo the b1 buffs from the last patch were not availsble vanilla.. Cmon you knew that
Did you read the quoted post?

But it's only if you use ex fb, in any other situation you will get punished. And if you're using exfb, why not go for mix ups instead of moves with huge ass recovery?

Pounce is much faster on recovery now. Throw out a normal slow forceball and pounce over it. If they block they can't punish because the normal slow forceball hits right after.

Well...that's where you use a armor move. Block the attack then power thru the forceball.

That usually requires meter and can't be combo'd after. Throw it out every now and then. It works. You guys assume that everyone you play is an expert and they will counter every thing that is even slightly unsafe. That isn't even close to true.

But this is a competitive website that aims to play at a high level. We don't care about online randos who can't put 1 and 1 together lol. And believe me that's not slightly unsafe.

You guys keep saying "well they could do this to counter" and it is true. It isn't a move without flaws, but 90% of the time who ever I'm playing won't counter it. Usually they hold block and I pounce. Sometimes it's countered, but with a high success rate like that, why not throw it out a few times a game?

Because it's sloppy and will get you blown up in tournament.

Pounce recovers much faster now. Yes, you can be counter zoned by an elite zoner, yes someone can armor through, but it works more than you think.
