RIP Ex Smash
The old thread became useless so I'm making a new thread that should suffice for all variations And it will be updated regularly if needed.
Also I don't own the game right now so it would be nice if you could help me and say if my damage is inaccurate =]. But every combo in this thread does work.
Combo strings
~113--(high),(high),(overhead)--8 frames--: Is Liu Kang's best string in order to do meterless damage, the 3 will launch the opponent allowing you to followup with a lot of options.
~F44--(Low)(mid)(mid)--10 frames: A very good low hitting kick that doesn't launch but allows you to follow up with things like Bicycle kick MB or Ex windmill punches that does launch or you could just do a solid 20% without meter. Probably liu kang's best normal
~B12-(mid(mid)(mid)--9 Frames: A fast double hitting string used for breaking armor on a hard read or a wakeup, also has the same follow ups as F44.
~F12--(high)(high)--6 frames: One of the fastest normals in the game and can be used to punish things that normally would be safe. Same follow ups as F44.
~F213--(mid)(mid)(mid)--10 frames: A mid hitting string that is often used for pressure since it does not lead to large combos midscreen, but it can lead to big damage in the corner if you do a dragon's roar or a Bicycle kick/Windmill punch at the end.
*****If you see any combos starting with F44, know that you can probably start them off with 112, B33, B12, or F12(but not the other way around, LINKING OFF F44 FBRC OR SHAOLIN FLAME CANCEL IS HARDER OR IMPOSSIBLE COMPARED TO 112, B12, F12, B33.). But for the sake of simplicity I will not be writing them due to redundancies.*****
The Basic BnB:
113, B34, F44~Bicycle kicks--- 30%?
This is Liu Kang's best universal combo starter, for the remainder of this thread I'll refer to 'BnB' instead of writing out the whole combo to make things clean. The first 2 hits are high and the second one is an overhead but there is a gap between 11 and 3 so be careful.
**In the case of Flame fist you would do 113, B34, B12~Windmill Punches~Low Fireball--- 30%**
Other important universal Midscreen combos:
F44~Windmill punches/Bicycle kicks--- 18%
Universal Corner combos:
F213//F44~Dragon's Roar, F12~Bicycle Kicks/Windmill punches--- 31%?
*Note that you are able to combo after a naked Dragon's Roar, so Ex Dragon Roar in the corner is a safe armored Launcher.

This is a place where it doesn't matter how impractical your combo is as long as it's theoretically possible. All combos here are way too hard for the average player and probably have a 1% of being landed in an actual match. Still they exist so here we are. All combos here were performed by Xarakamaka and can be found on his youtube page by Clicking here

Please do note that this thread is a work in progress and will constantly be changing. Please do post your own combos in this thread but try not to spam it with stuff that's more flashy than practical or doesn't do enough damage to be justified over other combos.

Dragon's Fire
Dragon's fire has the highest combo potential out of all the variations due to his Fireball Run Cancels(FBRCs), he is able to combo out of nearly all of his strings into a f44 or 113. If you are unable to do fireball cancels then just stick to doing his BnB.

Not very strong in the combo department midscreen after his Jazz hands nerf but he can still do work in the corner.
