Lol I see what you did there .... Used my name ha! But really listen kid. Games cost a lot of money to make even more now so to keep up with the rise of cost and keep the initial price low.... They do dlc to off set this rising cost. Now if you cant afford dlc for mkx then you have bigger problems than chatting on forums or playing mkx for that matter. Sad that I have to spell it out.

its $45 for me dude, and I want to spend that on travelling or actually buying a ps4. If I were paying $30AU, I'd pay in quiet disapproval, like I did MK9. But this is $45 man, then MK11 has $55 DLC etc.

edit: dude how can you come at me with HURR ENTITLED GAMER! and then be like "If you can't afford X you must be Y." talk about privilege. I work full time.

For someone who can only afford to by mkx with a few gift cards he got for his birthday, $45 is not cheap. Unsure if I will buy the pack at this point. Probably will just wait and buy the one or two dlc characters i end up liking and then just wait for the komplete edition in a year or so when I hopefully have a job and can actually afford shit.

$15 for the Season Pass (first four characters)
$2.99 each for the costume packs

MKX DLC:
$29.99 for four characters and FIVE costume packs... looks comparable to me, plus it's MK not IGAU so that's a plus for me.

That is precisely the case. The digital pre-order of the premium edition (game + kombat pack) on PSN is currently on sale for $80 instead of $90. So it's like you're getting 3 of the 4 dlc characters free at that price!

I live in EU too now so I know all about the extra cost vs. home. But since it's my main hobby I don't really bitch about it. To be honest it's actually a relatively inexpensive one compared to many others. Only thing I guess I wanted to get across here is that its not new and it's not going away. In fact paying for DLC is going to get worse in our lifetime. Does it suck, yes.

So we agree it sucks. I dont feel I have any power to influence anything realistic but I won't be complacent in speaking how I feel about this. Pipedream: If everyone was upset with this and voiced their opinion rather than being all "Durr youre privileged you should be thankful for paying for a 5 second incomplete demo which will never actually be released stop being so privileged, I paid for early access and I'm happy with my 5 second demo game because I support devs and bla fucking bla" - I'm not saying you are like this but these video game white knights exist and it's just retarded.

I can't change things and I don't expect to cause a revolution but I paid $30 last time and this time it's $45.

I think if they planned ahead and saved for the Kombat Pack then they wouldn't have this issue. So I agree with that. But kids are expensive so I understand parents that enjoy the game but can't really spend the extra 30 cause that can go to diapers or formula lol

I hope Steam will have some sale in the future. Because - Predator. I sort of wished you could also select dlc characters individually. I could care less for Jason, but hunters? No way! Besides it's yet to be seen what classic fighters lurk within.

Im sure as hell I won't pay that much for a freakin DLC of a few characters that probably already should have been in the game, and some pixels that are also called as skins.

Gonna wait for that Steam sale or just buy complete edition in the future.

People are still shocked by DLC prices...wow. I thought people would be better adapted to such things by now. The price for everything keeps going up. Work harder, get a job or two, but stop wasting your time sitting here complaining. It will not change the price, and you can still play MKX without the Kombat Pack. So enough of the "sour grapes". DLC is here to stay, get used to it or pick up some other hobby...most others will be even more expensive. Trust me.
