I thought your half-cousin twice removed knew a guy that works with someone whose friend picked the font for the comics and they got drunk and told your half-cousin twice removed's acquaintance who then told your half-cousin twice removed the entire roster and their backstories as well DLC and all the variations in the game in detail?

Yeah we knew Fujin was the big bad but I thought Khrome appears, since he becomes Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei after Sektor's death and unites the realms since he's now Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu, and works with Havik to kill Reiko who's acquired all the Kamidaggers then kills Havik himself so he can take on Fujin using blood magik? Or am I missing something?

But for realises, where'd you get the picture? Lol

Why would Cassie be working with him?! I mean at the end of 11 he tells Sonya and crew it could be their last feast. Maybe he just tells her his plan and they're not actually working together. That would explain how Sonya and Johnny are chasing down Cassie's captor... so yeah I reckon Havik kidnaps her and maybe Jacqui.

Although we already know what chapter 12 includes, here's Shawn's reply to someone who thinks Reiko could be the big bad:

There's also a GIF of Mr Burns doing his 'excellent' pose. Could Shawn be hinting that Havik is in fact the big bad?! Or maybe it is Reiko?

We know we'll see Cyrax and Sektor in the comics at some point, that much was made clear from one of the last bunch of tweets I posted in this thread, but Shawn didn't reveal when we'd see them. Although we still don't find out exactly when we'll see them here's what Shawn had to say about what it'll be like when we see them:


Did the character who died in chapter 12 REALLY die?

Yep! Another one gone for good by the sounds of it! Add it to the list with Hsu Hao and Fox...

Turns out the Kamidogu daggers are the only ones we need to be worrying about right now

.....but just right now? Will we see the old Kamidogu as well at some point? Shujinko has been teased to appear in the comics so you never know.

Speaking of which, Taven? Daegon? Shujinko? Will we see them? We already know Daegon has been name-dropped, even in issue 1!


Someone is hearing from a lot of people that Shawn will kill off Reiko in the comics, and from a previous tweet of Shawns that possibility is not completely out of the picture just yet, but here's what Shawn had to say to that. Plus LOL at that picture, Shawn is awesome :D

So i came to think about Inferno Scorpion since NRS said that each variation is related to some point in History, i started to think how cronological Scorpion would place in History and this is what i came up with:

Ninjustu will be the time where Scorpion works under Quan Chi and Shinnok as we saw in the chapter one of MKX he is still using his MK9 costume, but what about Hellfire and Inferno?

I imagine Hellfire will be the point in history where Scorpion's Humanity is restored, he is able to access that power trough summoning hellfire, but at some time towards assuming Quan Chi doesn't die in the Netherrealm war, Scorpion might actually Kill him and become the new king of netherrealhm, by doing so i think Scorpion's Skull from inferno variation might be from the former king of the netherrealm and now he uses to control the hell himself which is why now he has demons helping him, is just a though but that is what i think, or the timeline on a different order i mean:

Ninjutsu - Works under Quan Chi and Shinnok
Inferno - King of Netherrealm (After Death of Quan Chi)
Hellfire - Humanity Restored.

What do you guys think?

People like him cuz he isn't in generic outfits as if he came straight from Gears of War or street clothes from Grand theft Auto. Besides...none of that matters storywise. Kotal Kahn (the apparent all powerful sun god) gets kicked off a building by Rain. Cage and Kenshi knock away scorpion and subzero like it's just another day. Sonya beats up frost like it's nothing. and Sindel by far has officially the highest body count. Jason Voorhees can soak that in.
