Well everyone knows he is in fact in the game... Boon already decomfirmed him as DLC... I do know they are working to the wire to get people in though...

But as for the list and such... Why people believe it... Because not only was the list a easy guess based on given information.. Several people who do know confirmed that it was in line with what they know..its why I say that it's correct not because of the list... But that it's in line with what I heard elsewhere and others said the same...

God you people need to know what confirmed means. Yes Johnny and Sonya are in the game, BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE PLAYABLE! In fact, it makes no sense that they would be playable since NRS has described Cassie as having a little bit of Sonya and a little bit of Johnny. Why do that only to bring them both back anyway?

People are assuming Jax, Sonya, and Johnny are playable when nothing has shown that that is the case. Yes they are all most likely in the story mode, but that doesn't mean they are playable. Same with Rain, although I would guess he has an even BETTER chance than Sonya or Johnny.

There was a lot of buzz going around after the MKX Story Trailer about new leaked characters.

One of which was the potential Johnny Cage in the cut scene with Raiden and Shinnok

We'll call this Young Johnny (maybe)

And with the newest leaked images featuring Jax, Sonya and Cage, we see an older Johnny...we'll call him, of course, Old Johnny

With these two images, we see striking differences and vague similarities.

Young Johnny has blonde hair, Old Johnny has black hair.
But the blonde might just be lighting from the action happening a few feet from him, the light is obviously blinding enough for him to guard his eyes. We also see a bit of black at the roots of his bangs and side burns so he may have black hair, just lightened from the brightness.

Another point:
Young Johnny looks as if he has a five o'clock shadow. This could be shadow casting from his arm, as well. Only the shadow will be casting pretty specifically around the areas of his face that maintains a beard (unless you're hella weird).


So what do you guys think? Is it definitely Johnny in the MKX Story Trailer or is it a different character after all?

Jax is very clearly one of the boots... They are all playable...

I'm honestly kind of hoping the roster is bigger than we'd expect. To be forward I really don't mind Sonya, Johnny and Jax being in the game. What kind of gets me is that I just want more visually unique/ interesting characters too. I believe Shang, Kabal, Sektor/Cyrax, Tanya, Reiko, Fujin, Havik, Noob, Smoke or imagine even Kai all are VERY interesting characters. When it comes to these leaks its not that I hate them its just visually it seems like 10 people fill the role of "normal human".

We have cyber ninjas, shape shifters, wind deities, clerics of chaos, super speed freddy kruegar, sonic fireball banshees in SHORT supply.

So much this . The roster is not bad per se, the issue here is that there are no more spots left, and if they plan to bring the rest as DLC, well, in that case they should have made Sonya and Jax DLC instead of the ones they're planning to release. Anyway, here I hope the DLC will not be a disaster like it was with IGAU. *crossfingers for predator* ;_;

Can we please accept the fact that this leak is legit and move on? The only character that we haven't seen that's on this is Liu Kang. This will be the initial 25 characters, the denial phase needs to end. The good news is, the DLC characters can be anyone, so your favorite character can still be in the game. These "new" leaked footage of new characters and roster predictions are getting out of hand when we have all but one character left to go to prove this 100% accurate.

Fantim, this guys friend apparently, said he was NPC, and UMK guy says most likely playable. Such a confliction, someone is bullshitting, or they both are.

EDIT: Okay, so UMK is saying Rain's costumes and variations are cool. Sounds like a troll, honestly. I can't take it serious, as much as I'd like to.

Johnny is Raiden's champion = Raiden's champion defeated Shinnok = Players want to defeat Shinnok = Raiden's champion playable = Johnny playable

I hope he's in. These guys don't seem to know a whole lot about the game though, just some things.
