Yeah Sony and GameStop have been releasing pre-load games/big titles at 12am est now so that everyone doesn't have to wait until it's 12am in their respective time zones to play.

Games are always released on midnight Eastern time on the ps4. They started dong this after Destiny was released.

I digitially download all my games and have been able to play everyone of them right at midnight. Some people I play with are on the west coast and play the same time Im playng so every release is at midnight eastern.

I thought about buying digitally, but it's £70 digital, compared to £38 for the exact same game on disc. I don't know why anyone would pay that much. Maybe the prices are better in US, I don't know, but this is a joke.

It includes the Kombat pack though so 4 dlc characters. I don't think we have a price for it individually in the UK but expect around £25. Still cheaper for physical but hey for convenience it's pretty good.

When Injustice came out, I got a Free Injustice Gamestop T-shirt, Free Strategy guide (Not that I used it) and a $25 giftcard for gamestop. Also 1st in Line to get the game.

Had to play against @RM I$AAC in MK9 to get it though. So it wasn't free.

Then people should not complain about there scene sucking because there is nobody to play with. These type of events are how scenes are made.

You wont be able to access it until midnight but the download will start early in order to have it preloaded to be ready at midnight. I've preordered games off of psn and I wasn't allowed to play until midnight even though the download started before then.

That would be pretty dumb, especially considering it will likely take more than two hours for some people to download the initial file that lets you play while the rest continues to download. I figured the whole point of pre-loading a game is to have it done well in advance (like a week) of the release day, that way you're not having to worry about servers being overloaded due to everyone and their mother trying to download it at the same time.
