yeah but here is the thing one 60% combo puts you in the corner, what will you do once cornered grapple out and get Flying uppercut for 50% with trait?
savage blast is overrated in this MU, i play 7L all the damn time, you can beat consecutive savage blast with MB LC as long as the first one whiffed, and arrow can't load trait by shooting and arrow then loading, reversal LC beats that too.
These are true things. I think MB slide needs to be used a lot in this match. After landing one it's a free load. I would go with fire or electric and just keep him out. Gotta be careful after a blocked arrow though as I learned last time.
Depends on the set up/where the ball is on the screen by the time we get into RMS.
original it was 7 - 3, but Grr has leveled up so much, his footsies are getting way better, bane might have top 5 footsies in this game, and theoretically if bane gets life it its hard to approach him when he has venom, one thing that i still believe though is standing 2 makes bane's cringe. bane has to play differently in the MU, if you respect standing 2 too much it opens up 50/50 right after i block any of your moves. then on wake up flash has all the options, far sonic pound to just get out of there, MB LC delayed or not to full combo punish your oki attempts, flying upper goes right through bane, LK back dash is fully invincible and lets me get out of those d1 double punch set ups after certain knockdowns. phase works well too. i think its 6- 4 because a smart bane player with footsies and patients can take games off a flash player, but its hard.
Not calling you out either but I really want to see you play Max in a first to 10 at UFGT. I used to think a lot of that helped but now I'm not so sure. Like far sonic pound as a wake up still leaves you close enough for Bane to just d1 you into whatever. MB LC will get stuffed on wake up 95% of the time if Bane times it right. Flying uppercut goes through but Bane will recover first on his special whiffing and you get punished hard for it. LK charge back dash is good and I need to use it more. Certainly not saying I play this match perfectly and am totally willing to be completely wrong but man I think Max has been shown to be the best Bane and I want to see it in practice against the best Bane in an offline match.
max may be the best bane, but grr isn't far behind, Grr got 5th at NEC and made it out of pools at every tournament he's been to getting 9th at WB. i think that max and grr are right there with how me and harold are for flash. i will not be surprised by anything max does, i know that bane can stuff LC MB thats why you delay it so it doesn't get hit in between, i'll gladly fight max in a ft10 at UFGT to see if through.
am sorry but i can't except that, maybe max, but bipolar hasn't been to a tournament. Grr plays the best east coast has to offer, he fights everyone well and has beaten many times the likes of rico, kdz, jupiter, myself, noobe and countless more. you may see how bipolar has a better bane, but results speak for themselves, am tired of Grr getting shitted on by non east coast players. he's only a kid (a very big kid) who's first fighting game is injustice, he plays analog on a freaking xbox pad for crying out loud, so in your opinion with no fact to support your statement, bipolar is better than Grr?
