Dude, i'm a huge Cyclops fan boy. Everyone always talks shit about him and say he's a baby because of the movies and it's like, do you even know what the fuck you're talking about? He went from being your typical boy scout to an intelligent strategical leader to a political activist to a Phoenix force psychotic to a mutant terrorist. IMO he's one of the coolest and well written characters out of the Marvel universe.
Colossus is by far one of my favorite characters. Joss Whedon wrote a interesting love story involving him and Kitty in Astonishing X-Men lol. +1 for that avatar.

I've always loved the character. His mutant ability is awesome and I love that he is Russian. Apparently in one of the story lines he was gay....so of course I love that, lol!
Cyclops is one of my favorite Marvel NOW characters! I use too be one of those "haters" for Cyclops. But now! Damn. He's awesome!
Man, everything he is doing in the Now! era is amazing. Him and Magneto teamed up was cool as fuck. (that's another character I left out as one of my favorites.)
Storm is one of my Favorite X-Men. But after watching X1 as a kid, I was like "WTF have they done." lol BTW. Colossus is awesome. He's one of the characters I wanted to see get more air-time. Like how Nightcrawler had a big amount of Air-time in X-2. But than Nightcrawler disappeared after X-2 and was never seen again for some reason. Like wtf was that about?
I haven't read any Marvel NOW books YET! But I've heard and read up on some stuff of whats going on. But I probably get into reading some since most of New 52 is disappointing.
This is what happens when companies like Fox get a hold of the rites to characters. I legitimately think they sit down in a room and are like "ok so, just make sure the film is centered around Wolverine and we'll have some really big explosions and high octane action scenes, we'll introduce a new love interest for him because the Hollywood rule states that these films always have to have a love interest. Oh the source material? Ok, add in a few characters that were popular with the fans and give them 5-10 minutes of screen time and twist the plot around to where it's in our image but still has the general idea of the original material. BLAM-O WE'RE MAKING CHEDDAR BOYZ"
My only gripe with The Wolverine was The Silver Samurai. I wish they just stick to some of the OG shit from comic's so to speak. They can change something's. That's fine with me. But what they did to Deadpool, The Silver Samurai and the cast of characters in First Class is really, really lame.

Definitely. I was a huge Wolverine, Daredevil, Spider-man and The Punisher fan-boy when I was a kid, due too The Spider-man and X-Men Animated series'(s). But once I discovered Lobo! Fuck man. I started reading some DC stuff more than Marvel. But the New 52 is a disappointment so far, except for Wonder Woman, Swamp-Thing and Animal-Man books (which I also haven't read) are really good from what I've heard. I'm enjoying some of the Forever Evil books like The Forever Evil: Justice League and Forever Evil: Justice League of America books are good so far. So with that said, I definitely take up on your suggestions!
Yes! I know, right? Everything about Storm (in the comics and TAS) is utter perfection. Her attitude, her mutant abilities, her leadership, the fact that she would basically chant a poem before summoning her powers (lol) was just amazing. Then comes X1 and I, like you, was like "Ohhhh no....wtf!"
