ZP SEGAS "QQ SOME MORE" MK9 FLORIDA TOURNAMENT!!!

Hey guys Sega here! Title says it all! MK9 TOURNAMENT!!! Thats right! Lets make this one big! its about a month from now so I wanna see some central and north FL players showin up for this!! Chances are IT WILL BE STREAMED! But I haven't exactly made that official yet. But when I say it will be streamed, I MEAN IT!!! Ill keep you posted on that. But I can tell you this, the more that show up, the better chance that it will! Details below!

Location: Zero Ping lan center Hollywood FL, 441 and lucky street.
Date: Oct 8th 2011
Time: doors and registration open at 11 am. singles start at 1 PM
Entry Fee: 10 bucks
Door fee: 5 bucks
Pay layout: 70, 20, 10
Banned stages: Kratos stage
Banned characters: ^ kratos
Banned skins: UMK3 cyrax, MK2 smoke
Format: 2/3 rounds double elimination, losers/winners/grand finals will be 3/5 rounds
Console: PS3

Ill try and get a tag team tournament or a crew battle tournament (3v3s) going depending on how many people show up! Ill have the details on that soon. Ill be accepting all MMs for UMK3 and maybe even a mini tournament for one of the classics if anyone wants to throw down a buck. We have plenty of tvs but are in need of some ps3s so if we can get some ps3s that would be very much appreciated.

Also, ZP is right across the street from the hardrock hotel and casino. there are plenty of fast food restaurants in the area. Miami subs, burger king and mcdonalds are all 2 min drives.

Count me in and my friend chris might have one more as well I am talking to a new player in the area that just moved in from Cali. Also ban the street stage.

nice!!! happy to hear I got some more players in! and i was curious as to why they ban the street stage? why is it banned?

alright new info on the tournament. as far as streaming goes its not looking to good. the place does not have the equipment yet however i will be trying to get some equipment as i have been running around gathering whatever i can to get this thing live on the web. any help would be appreciated! thanks guys!

there is a good chance I might actually miss this and miss btb up at west palm. I'll definitely be going to expcon.

Standard MK9 Rules. Kratos is Banned but with the recent Freddy patch fixing the Projectile Glitch all DLC characters are allowed.

now if im wrong please correct me cause this is just off the top of my head. i can only remember top 4 but ill have official results up tomorrow for sure. sorry for any inconvience

id like to thank all of you who showed up for this tournament. im sorry it was just a tad short notice so it really means alot to me for all of you that came out. as far as the ones who couldnt make it this time, ill def be trying to get monthlies going so it would be great if you guys could make it out next time! tell your friends, your family, and the rest of the earth to come out. lets try and get these tournaments big!

congrats ozzy for takin home first place. Sexy cyrax as usual.

Id also like to thank my good friend jamal for helping me run this tournament. he helped things run smoothly and we were able to run things promptly! thanks again for all of you cats that made it out! ill keep you guys posted for the next event to come! See yall at the next event!! (hopefully Expcon)
