Ok, so basically all of the faces and textures in INJ don't look exceptionally great. The camera is pulled back further so they can get away with a lot, but there's also a lack of interesting special effects. Compared to MK9, the game's color scheme and effects look a bit bland.

There's just a LOT going on in this game, given how large each of the stages are, all the in-game cinematics (clash's, transitions, etc.), the new lighting effects, etc. I imagine with more power (hopefully a sequel on PS4/XboxOne) the game could look amazing, and live up to the blockbuster standards of the characters it's based around. But until then, NRS did a pretty good job with the power they had available, but like a lot of people, I wish it was a little more cleaned up and flashy.

One thing I'll give NRS props for though, playing this game with surround sound is AMAZING. The hits sound 10x more intense, and you get to hear all of the cool, little effects going on.
