I like how when wound said 1st to 5 mm, everyone said that don't prove whos better, it has to be a first to 10 because longer sets shows who can make adjustments. Now all of a sudden a first to 2 has more weight lol. I love watching all the guys at yomi play but man people need to get off there nuts. Even if you hate wound, to discredit his 1st to 10 with a first to 2 is crazy.

That like when people discredited a foxy grandpa 2nd place at evo because it was one tournament and his competition ain't as good. I'm sure a week from now, it won't matter that he ran through yomi, lost one single match in the top 8 and 3-0 burger King (probably the best yomi player) because people will say he's not playing tough enough compitition.

But who am i, I'm a nobody so you can just ignore my opinion.

Regardless it's no biggie, when one tournament finishes I like to just move on, focus on the next one if you win you win, if you don't you don't, just don't make it easy.

I'm curious if the same stuff happens in the SF community when a player like Luffy is bought up in conversation.

Man you're too boring to be a so dominant right now. Talk shit. Money match someone. Call out someone's mother. All this "I'll just play and showcase my skills in multiple tourneys in several countries" crap is for the birds. This is TYM, we want callouts and ft10 that go 9-11 because you have to deuce up.

If Luffy is the Rose player, the little I keep up (r/kappa, Ehub comments), people's opinion was basically: Luffy is good, Rose is a good character but not some crazy top tier. After he started dominating people learned the matchup. But I'm sure there had to be someone salty, there is always is. Which is pretty much how it always goes. No one competiting got time to actually learn the game. Until someone starts winning money lol.

Oh and it's dumb to put a ft2 over a ft10. Just plain dumb. Especially in this game and with players that pretty much went even. BurgerKing gonna have to win 15 ft2 in a row and basically gatekeep WoundCowboy (The guy that didn't have his name changed from being the loser)

It does, not as often as this community due to age & other factors but it happens a bit.

Congrats to @YOMI FOREVER KING for redeeming himself at SCR. Wish we could have all seen the match on stream live since the hype being built around it was ridiculously intense. I know King has wanted nothing more than to try again and face Cowboy at a major tournament after he lost the first to ten set. It's insane to think he would get the opportunity so quickly and at SCR majors of all places.

Looking forward to the top eight tomorrow! Stream monstering SCR has been a very enjoyable experience thus far.

Less so in the SF community but the SF community is much more fragmented. Games been around so long that several smaller, sub-communities have popped up, which keeps like-minded individuals together and prevents aalot of the friction we see here.

Sf had Crackfiend vs TommyGunz or whatever recently. It was quite a PL/SF 0-13 thing, but it was pretty bad, since Crackfiend lost to a character believed by many to be about as low tier as an SF character gets. I don't think that personally granted, but shrug.

If it worth it? TYM is the reason ppl like me with a poor offline scene still play NRS games. Over some of the arguments I've made in this site @Rude and @SaltShaker are 2 users who changed my mind over 4-5 replies. Even if that is a so rare thing or if I'm an exception to admit things and change thinking unlike others, it's worth it
