Can i request a change to the map selection process? Since sky temple lightning and kutan jungle's weird corner making things whiff, I think those two stages should be banned. Or if they are hit in the double random process to be re-randomed. It will probably not change much, but it could and i think it'd be better to just avoid them altogether.

I appreciate the feedback and I've seen the glitches where stuff whiffs, but I don't think it'll be that big of a problem. Haven't had an issue yet so I'm keeping it the way it is.

I would argue, but you're running it so i can't really say much. So instead I'll request anyone fighting me to just pick training room so we can avoid buggy maps =p

That's why I put training stage as an option to prevent that. I've been doing this for a while now and can only improve from here on out so your voice does help.

Rule change on connection issues everyone! Nothing major, but my previous rule had its problems and I believe this way is more fair.

Rule change:
"If there is a connection problem (can't connect or lags out) a speed test will be ran and the faster connection will take the win."

Will the stream be live during the whole tournament? Even if not broadcasting matches, it just seems most convenient to use the chat to find our matches and such. Also how will character selection/ counter picking work? Are we announcing our character variation choice before the match and winner of a round can't change his/her character/variation?

Yes, the stream will be active the entire tournament to give out matches or if any problems arise. And no, you don't have to tell anyone about who you play.
