It's way past time for WNF to update its stage select rules. Didn't the patch fix the random stage thing so it could be used now?

Winning the first stage pick automatically giving you 2/3 stage picks in a 2/3 set is inherently unfair.

Lots of players have been using random first stage, but lots are still doing 50/50 as well.

It seems to vary from match to match, but a unified rule would be really nice.

Yep.

Black Adam technically got more nerfs but Superman came out of his nerfs with more bad matchups. In my opinion he loses versus Aquaman, Sinestro, Raven, Hawkgirl, and quite possibly a couple of others. For someone to still consider Superman anything to complain about at this point just needs to adapt.

Enough of this "_____ won because he used ________". The game is as balanced as its going to get. Someone who wins a tourny from here on out won because he/she did well.

I really don't care about any of this aside from the fact that Tyrant has picked up Bane. That's the shit I'll be tuning in for. His Grundy is, in my opinion, the most fun character to watch play hands down.

Hope he sticks with Bane as a secondary, at least.

I only use characters with wakeup scoops.
I'm proud that I got a match off Slayer's Superman with my week 1 Aquaman. Besides the stupidity of the dive punch reset, I blame myself for losing to Superman. I feel comfortable using Aquaman in that matchup.

Good stuff to Slayer, he was in there last night.

Hey thanks for the games last night folks, it was fun. Hopefully I can get there more often. Anyone wanna blow me up online otherwise? Let me know. Got some ideas on how to play the matchups I lost a little better.

I'm surprised but also totally not at all surprised to see some people still mad that "Superman" won. Slayer won! Come on.

Tyrant's Bane will get better, he's new to the character. But I'm still mad that he's ruining my experiment!! Heh.

Just watched the archive, really good display spacing by both @RDK|Tyrant and MF Slayer(congrats to Slayer). Really good commentary by UltraDavid and James Chen, one of my favorite duo's in commentating. Also thanks to Commando for streaming this :D

While a gauntlet would be cool, it seems unnecessary and overly dramatic. I'm fine with just playing the game, and worrying more about how to beat NW's bad matchups with Blades, instead of who's the best.
